That’s probably why, in OBS see if you can lower the recording quality and check if that reduces lag.

I have an SSD with plenty of free space, normal diagnostics, 32 GB ram, nothing in this video helped, even trying to open a jpg file takes minutes, it all started after the last Windows "update". I've had it with Windows, always a problem.

None of this made programs start faster, I think it's the telemetry slowing down programs' start. On linux the programs start in the blink of an eye
