Great video and well done for sticking with it and for turning around when you don't trust your instinct ... very wise. I love that area and done those tracks on my XT660z and they are great, you picked a lovely day as well.
That looked like a top top day. One of those unplanned but spectacular days. Makes me want to go out and buy a T7 to experience things like that again. I have a couple of days booked beginning of March but will be on the GS so your route may be a little much for my skills on a big bike. Thanks for sharing and for putting the effort in to produce a great video.
Hey Bitwobbley. Thanks for watching and your really great comments! The first track I did at the beginning of the video I think you would be fine on the GS. 👍
Thee is lots to see there. Lots of reservoirs with similar tracks and routes. My Elan Valley trip was an epic as well, an amazing 6 mile track around one of the reservoirs, its at the end of the video, awesome. Enjoy when you get there. Cheers. Billy
@@BillysBikeAdventures It’s a trek for me to get there so I might as well make a bit of a weekend of it. It would be nice to get around off road for a bit that’s for sure. Stay safe.
What a great video this is. This is exactly the type of riding I’d like to do. I did have an africa twin, I’d set it up to going road but then I thought I better not. I actually have a slipped disk. I had been off road once. And did drop it 😂 I’ve just changed the AT for the Honda rebel, to keep me from going off road. But I can not help feeling like this is what I want to do. It’s fantastic. I’m now in my head gearing up to try and change the rebel. In fact, I’ve just contacted a dealer.. If I manage to get one, I’d love to ride with you.. it might take me a while 😞
Thanks again Dave for all your comments. This is exactly why I like sharing the things that I do with bikes. It's great to hear that it's inspiring you. Let me know how you go with the bike and yes mate, would be great to have you along on the first organised Billys Bike Adventures trip. Looking at taking 6 riders next year so I will be sure to give you first refusal once I have all the details confirmed and organised. Cheers. Billy
They all look the same don't they and Sweeetlamb is not that far away from Nant Y Moch but looking at the map I think just a bit too far, you do have a better memory than me for tracks, Northumberland as an example
Hi mate looked like a cracking adventure that’s what it’s all about 👌 great you got bike up no issues some ground levels it can be awkward to get them upright thanks for sharing mate hope to catch up with you at some point 👍 Steven
Hi Steven. Cheers mate. Yes she is a heavy b**** to get up but its a good workout and reminds me to keep up the training so i can continue to lift her. Hope you are enjoying yours mate. Cheers. Billy
hi, your out playing in the place i've been exploring for years, the first water you turned on is not as deep as it looks but i turned around the first time i got to it on my tiger900 🙂 the 2nd one with the gate and bridge is not to bad if you stay to the right, but i have seen a few drop the bike in there, not so bad when your friends are with you but no fun on your own. both of those trails open up into many miles, and leads to the starts of many other trails. i camp up there for days at a time with my bike so hope you see you up there or if you want a bit of a tour im happy to show you about. regards john
Hey mate. I ended up doing this route again a few months ago and did the water crossing with them and all good. When i am on my own, I take fewer risks. As a welshman myself I love getting back to the motherland, its a great place to explore. Thanks for watching. Cheers Billy
Great vid and Superb trail can’t wait to get up there. Can I ask do you carry fuel? I have a t7 and find the fuel gauge a little frustrating sometimes and not the most accurate.
What an adventure! Please please please can I have the GPX file for this ride? Especially the trail at about 7min in. Ramblers give you grieve riding your bike off road?? Don’t know what your talking about….. I guess their the ones that keep putting the gates up to stop us bikers enjoying the trails. 😂 😂 please keep going making the brilliant videos.
Thank you so much for watching and all your comments! Much appreciated. I don't have a gpx file for this but the reservoir is Nant y Moch near Aberystwyth and here is a maps link to the track 7 minutes in goo.gl/maps/XjukXRYGsbd79QCGA Cheers Billy
Hi are you going to do the long term review on LS2 adventure as you mentioned at the end of the first review? 😊 I'm curious about your opinion on it as the internet has rly mixed reviews
Yes mate. Answer as below. Look out for it end of next week. If not done so please subscribe so you get an update when it goes on the channel. thanks for watching. Cheers Billy
