Even though I jumped straight into rhino (I am an amateur hobbyist) and I am limited to different disciplines and design principles other software might encourage you to focus on, I am a great fan of "Curve from 2 views" (crv2view) instead of projecting curves. Lately I moved onto a-class surfaces wagon and practicing box modelling techniques.

This actually helped me out making a 3D model of my wooden shoe last! Thanks man.
I followed this process in Solidworks and it worked perfectly, a little bit complicated with the last curves but worked great. Thank you
