Sweet loving man. With that much love he has for her good thing she survived to continue being with him. That's a real love example a man has for his wife.
Your so blessed to have husband and family that cares and loves you endlessly...this is a true marriage...God bless all pray you get well and home son...thank Gid for such caring blessed Drs. Nurses rescue workers etc!!! Thank you all for helping these poor people!!
I heard the inmates working there for a work release program stays and helped pull people from the rubble. The officer watching them died trying to protect them (may he RIP). One inmate did “disappear” for about 24 hours (3rd degree robbery) after he was treated for his injuries at a hospital. He probably just wanted a little space to clear his mind, find family and let them know he was ok. He did turn him self in willingly so I don’t think she should be charged. Maybe a talking to. After surviving THAT building, I can see why he needed a little personal time to deal with trauma he just endured. Plus he did the right thing and turned him self in. Other inmates deserve reduced sentences/rewards for staying and helping the trapped employees though. Help them see the benefits of doing good.
There are so many untold stories of the events that occured that day. I agree. Any inmate who stayed and helped that day deserves recognition and consideration of a reduced sentence. Thanks for sharing this story.
It's not like it's their first random act of kindness. Just because they are locked doesn't mean they don't have a heart are in capable to doing good to humanity.
Totally agree. Time off for good behavior considerations, and cut the guy who ran off and came back some slack. If they must add time to his sentence, let it be one day. This was an extraordinary circumstance, and I am sure going through that did a number on him. Maybe he had to go see if someone he knew was okay --- see it for himself. Do you have a link to the story of these inmates and the officer?

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the sheer evil it takes to force people to remain at work after a tornado warning, not a tornado watch- a real tornado warning! This should be against the law! None of the warehouses or homes there seemed to be built at a standard for likely tornados! Will these supervisors/managers be held accountable?! I hope Ms. Jamie can heal up and rejoin her family. RIP to those who did not make it. Kentucky people: pay closer attention to those you elect as your leaders! Better building codes also!
This wasn't just any tornado warning. Everyone who had watched the weather in the last three days before it happened knew it was coming and some of the people who had had premonition of the coming disaster were begging supervisors to let them go home and they still wouldn't. You got to be a cold-hearted snake to make someone work after begging for their life.
