Ed Norton = one of the most underrated actors of all time, in my opinion. Primal Fear, American History X, Fight Club etc.
Very good shout he is an awesome actor. That scene between him and Richard gere where he turns into roy; outstanding piece of drama history and well American history x that film is my personal favourite even though fight club is equally good.

"Strip the clutter away and boil things down to their essence". I couldn't have said it better myself. That's what De Niro and Norton do so well that makes them so great that most actors today fail to do.
The score is soooo underrated
I enjoy Edward Norton's films and he really held his own with both Robert De Niro and Marlon Brando in "The Score".

The Score was such a good movie. Not many directors can say that they've had 3 generations of great actors in the same scene.
me too, I was about 16 years old, snuck in to the theatre alone, ever since then I've been hooked, what a humble and down to earth human being and truly talented actor. I love how honest he is about where he can improve, that shows you that he is real and genuine
Now,,,,,Edward Norton,,,,,, He`s a TRUE actor. Its not the Olympic games, its not about whos better than the next one,,,,,but Edward Norton has that "something" that makes a difference.
I find his acting so remarkable original.

When I think of Edward Norton, I think of his unbelievable performance in American History X. It's a pity he didn't win an oscar for that.

Interesting to see this. Because De Niro went for a while, a long time in my opinion, without giving an interesting performance until he again teamed up with Norton in "Stone," a very underrated movie.

Ed Norton - an actor soo under-rated in our time. One of the best acting performances I've ever witnessed was his in Primal Fear. Birdman, Larry Flynt and obviously American History X are up there, but Primal Fear was most Oscar worthy, arguably, imo. Brilliant actor. Academy need to get it's finger(s) out it's arse.

@pbstratocaster True that. Two great actors face to face here. And I loved the Godfather music in the beginning. Most people only know the main themes, but there's so much other great music in those films.

He was good in The Score, Red Dragon, Kingdom of Heaven, The Illusionist and The Painted Veil. It's not all about American History X or Fight Club

well, actually Norton and DiCaprio are the next great actors, i have no doubt that we are gonna see them in 20 years sitting on that same chair, Leo and Ed Norton r extremely talented, cheers

If you watch Leos movies, the characters are simliar. Departed and Gangs, same character. Aviator and Shutter Island, close. Whats Eating Gilbert Grape and This Boys Life, close.
Norton has never played the same bit twice.
American History X, Fight Club, Primal Fear, Rounders, Down in the Valley, The Painted Veil, never the same thing.
And yet amazing performances.
What do people have against Beyonce being there? She was invited, she accepted. The editors decided to put her face in the program. Or is she not allowed to have anything to do with De Niro? o.O
