Got the same exhaust on my wr450 supermoto. It’s sick lol. Make sure you get a good custom tune and you’ll start to see the extra performance especially with down low and mid range torque.

changing back pressure requires the engine to be tuned for the new exhaust gas flow, if you tuned the engine for that exhaust system it will make more power than the tuning for the stock exhaust

Exhaust looks mint and kudos for knowing to wipe your paw prints off before starting. On another note, I can never get over the cheap looking blue anodized clutch lever (not just yours but anyone I see with that shade of blue anodized accessories on their bikes). I do like the red bar bag as it "pops" and makes your bike recognizable. Obviously you need a new tune as everyone mentioned.

7:25 it feels slower bc u need to adjust your tune for the exhaust if u don’t adjust ur tune jt can also cause additional stress on the motor as well so adjust ur tune

Yes it needs more fuel and sooner. I don't think the application tuning is enough for these bikes You need a piggyback tuner or a flash tune done to get the benefit and prevent engine damage from lean condition

You need to make it richer by putting a bigger jet in it or give it a tune, it will give it more power then the stock exhaust
Im not good at english but you need to tune/mod or sum like that to get anything from the exhaust. Your bike is now tuned to the stock exhaust.

You probably need to download a new map for your bike sense you put a exhaust. Just search up one and get the numbers from them or bring it to a shop

I have both. 22 WR450F supermoto & a brand new 24 yz450fx. The fx is way more rowdy than the WR even in stock form. It depends on the type of riding you want to do imo and also if you’re a newer rider or not. If 90% of the riding you want to do is supermoto/dual sport then I personally say just get a 2017+ WR450F. But if there’s a chance you’ll throw the knobbies back on the bike and hit some woods or open/fast trails then I’d get the fx. Also Yamaha sells the gytr fan for the fx. Pretty sure it’s the exact one that comes on the WR. Depending on the year you’ll also need to swap the WR450F stator onto the fx. I think after 23/24 they’re identical but not sure. You want to make sure you have the proper electrical output for the lighting system to make it legal and while also not draining the battery etc. Last thing I’ll say is the power difference is pretty big. And more power isn’t always the answer at least for a dirt bike. Hope that helps some.

How in the world is this thing streetlegal without headd lights? In my country there are some realy strict rules and some doesent even make sense. fx. A scooter or a moped call it what you want, those are restricted to 30kmh/18mph and you cant sit 2 people on a moped and even those who are made with foot pegs and marks on the seat are illegal to ride 2 on. You cant even change a exhaust or do ANYTHING beacuse then it is constructively changed and ensurance doesent wanna pay and you get a ticket.
