Killer interview. I remember watching a lot of this stuff happen growing up in real time and always wondering what the story behind it all was, being a huge fan of BYD and a huge fan of PQ + Carp before that. Still treasure my limewire era downloaded copies of Crafter doing Trail of Crumbs by BYD and I think I've got him doing Suckerpunch by carps too?
This is the best! Growing up in Perth in this era and being almost 40 has made me laugh and get pulled back to shit that i hadn't thought of for years. Love Crafter love the hq and capitol scene through that time.
This was such an amazing listen. Grew up listening to Crafter and going to shows, and even just had a tattoo at his Scarb studio. This was one hell of an episode, I think I have taken away a few lessons from this. Thank you for recording this!
That “final” show at Sydney was a tearjerker when Confession played March 23 cause I think of my daughter every day (born on a different date) Also cannibal corpse sells g strings as merch 😂
bless crafter. sounds like he's been through the meat grinder more times than any person deserves. good to see he's still holding up well and is still the same cheeky aussie he's always been. also, apologies on behalf of the crazy stuff happening in florida. even the rest of us americans don't understand the obscure insanity that is florida and its swamp denizens.
i remember on Broken Glass Online forum crafter made a post talking about some of his early influences like Slipknot, 28 Days and I was like 15 thought I was a music don and laughed at him for liking Slipknot and he quoted me and just roasted me all over on his own forum haha put me in my place proper
One of the early pioneers of the Aussie HC scene, legend! so many memories of those times, sick poddy fellas 👌
Man, this podcast took me back to 2004 so damn quickly! Loved the chat legends
Thanks Dave, nostalgia trip for sure

Dude should do his own podcast and interview his friends in bands and talk about and share some stories. That would be dope.
He really should, I believe he is thinking about it
