The godfathers of Heavy Metal: Judas Priest. Was brought up a metal head and will always be a metal head. The music from Judas Priest is timeless. This song always gets my heart pumping.
Divine performance, wish they'd done a full-album Nostradamus gig when it was still relevant to the band. It really deserved that, being such an epic album. A real diamond in a rough.
Uff I love Nostradamus album, but I am not sure if the rest of fans would be willing to accept it. Remember Iron Maiden playing The Matter of Life and Death in its entirety and it was painfully obvious people did not like it
@@davidknichal6629 a one off gig could work but yeah doing what maiden did would be a disaster. Don’t know how maiden thought it was a good idea especially with such a poor album.
@@rogerstedina2202 I'm sorry, I just saw this reply now! Yes! Honestly these live videos are great with professional recording. Cell phone videos dont do his voice justice. Cause I heard them live once, and his voice sounded just like the studio version.
I love this performance! Saw them do it in Pittsburgh. Such a fantastic show! Right up there with the Painkiller tour! Halford is amazing, still! I still glow when I think of this show! The number 1 heavy metal band..... Ever!
For me as a Pink Floyd, Rush or Maiden lover is this album probably the best supreme display of JP's talent and creativity (along with Sin After Sin or SWOD). I don't care about You ve Got or Painkiller at all. This is just a brilliant storytelling
Absolutely! The only two Priest songs I've heard of which I like the album version better are "Devil's Child" and "Desert Plains." Priest music sounds better live than any concert I've ever attended by any other artist in the last 4 decades, and that includes Kiss, Sabbath, James Gang, BTO, Alice Cooper, Foghat, Bob Seger, Grand Funk RR, Olivia Newton John, Barry Manilow, Brownsville Station, Mastadon, and Bruno Mars. (I've an eclectic taste.) Judas Priest stands above them all!
Rob, KK and Glenn rightly get the spotlight for JP but without Scott and Ian's brilliant and solid rhythm section work, there would be NO classic Judas Priest sound. Bravo boyz!
My first time hearing this song. Only the second song I've ever heard off this LP. Always avoided it because of length... Guess I've got some listening to do! 🤘 🔥
For awhile there, I considered it my painkiller sequal in a way. The last 3-4 songs on 'angel of retribution' hit that mark, but the rest of that album wasn't for me at all. But you know? More and more listens to Nostradamus, it became one of my favorite concept albums ever. Even bought the awesome 4LP vinyl box set version, I loved it so much. Great way to listen to the journey too!

There is one thing that I liked about Priest the most. Its that diversity of styles they played. They ve ever tried new things and thats why I love them. Some bands play still the music that people want, but it becomes boring somehow.

Not to mention the missed opportunity to do a full scale production.
Future of mankind is brilliant
They didn't do it back then, they won't do it now. Most of those songs are impossible for Rob to sing in his current state.

Metal in its purest form
Judas Priest is the best band ever, Glenn Tipton the greatest guitarist ever. Rob Halford the best vocalist. I love this song.
Rob sounds better than on the album 👏🏻
This is Judas Priest. This is Heavy Metal.
Is this truth.
This Is True Metal!!!
FUCK YEAH THE METAL GODS 🤘🤣
This is one of the last times the true band was together epic
With Kk Priest is really another kind of beast
KK......is the beast!! Forever KK and Judas Priest!!!!
I'm speechless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They sound better than ever.
Back in 2018 they were fantastic and I did not expect it tbh. Halford sounded like in his 40's
Pushing 70 ,and putting on a performance like this! True METAL GODS!
Talking about heavy metal is ALWAYS talking about Judas Priest !!!! 🙌🙌🙌
Guitarras gêmeas....enfim Judas Priest.....sempre será sinônimo de tempestade sonica !
Best Harmony Guitars EVER! Nostradamus is a Masterpiece. The Guitars are just Great.
This is still the best post reunion song.
No its scientificaly proven its As God Is My Witness but I enjoy Nostradamus a lot
Heavy Metal gods Rob is the King of Metal 🤘
What a song! What an album! Cheers from the past...
I’m so fortunate for have being present in this Nostradamus tour with this dream line up! “The lightning rod “, indeed that’s what they are.

An excellent version of this song
This is a must-have in every live set list in my opinion. Absolutely awesome.

Best metal guitarist ever.
Halford is extraordinary here
Here there and everywhere!
Super performance, from a very underrated album

One of the most kick-a** tracks ever!
Long way since first seeing Priest at Hammersmith in '83. Still the best of the best of the best.

So sad they have few albums with great production
