  • Monster Energy® AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, is the most competitive and highest-profile off-road motorcycle racing championship on the planet. Over 17 weeks between January through May and a million-dollar All-Star Race, Supercross attracts some of the largest and most impressive crowds inside the most recognizable and prestigious stadiums in North America to race in front of nearly one million live fans and broadcast to millions more worldwide. The track takes all the exciting obstacles of outdoor riding-jumps, turns, and bumps-amplifies them, and puts them in easy view of spectators.
    Founded in America and sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) in 1974, Supercross is currently co-sanctioned by the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), the official global governing body for motorcycle racing, thus making it a formal World Championship.

      Jet, like most talented rookies, wanted the win more than riding his game plan for the season.; learn, develop and be mentally in control. Zach Bell's great talent was hindered by the same problem and rode over his head as euphoria over rode good judgement.

To finish first, first you must finish.

  • @keithbeal1214
    @keithbeal1214 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I've read comments back and forth on whether it was "just racing" or "Dirty move." Regardless of my judgement, I think it was an example of what NOT TO DO from a pass standpoint. These guys ride on the razor's edge all the time and calculating lines that intersect and one racers choice versus' anothers happens. I guess that's what the FIM or AMA were trying to determine and ultimately sided w/ Dylan. Although Dylan might want to have "eyes" roaming around him b/c others took noticed as well and I feel payback is set up now. Any move that takes you out also isn't a good move. The risk versus' reward isn't a good calculation. Just my 2 cents worth! On a final note....when are teams going to go NASCAR on other teams like fistacuffs! If you are a nobody, then you will get suspended, but if you have a big rig....I dont think the FIM will threaten a teams defense of its rider. Risking a livelihood to a rider/team w/ a serious break or career ending injury is nothing to bite your lip on.....plus, it would be great fan appreciation seeing a brawl.

    Blatant intentional take out on Craig by Ferrandis. You know it’s plain dirty because if Craig wasn’t there to act as the square edge to bank off, Ferrandis would’ve wadded into the mechanics area. I’m all for block passes, rubbing, and even taking guys wide into the tough blocks if they don’t check up, heck even brake slide a guys front tire if he has it coming... but that was a straight bullshit to new hit job by Ferrandis a la Alessi on tickle and the AMA needs to enforce the freaking rules. If the tracks weren't so damn godawful difficult these numerous crashes would happen far less. It's brings the sport and the industry down because many of the top riders are always out injured. And the fans watching these races (especially the moms) See all of this nonsense and tell their young child "There is NO WAY IN HELL YOU ARE RIDING ONE OF THOSE DEATHMACHINES - You are playing flag football instead!" And the sport of motocross continues its downward spiral that has been happening for more than 10 years already. Hardly any of the young children learn to ride dirt bikes anymore, there are almost no young children at the Motocross tracks like there used to be. Racing for the amateurs isn't what it used to be. All because they try to make these damn Supercross track so tricky and Technical that half of the Riders can't even handle it on a regular basis. Sure you can say what you want about in separates men from boys or whatever. But if they want the Youth of the Nation to get in on Motocross (like back in the 80's and 90's), they need to tame down these stupid tracks.
    I think the Dirt Wurx crew just likes to impress themselves to see how insanely difficult they can make these tracks. And ends up injuring half of the top Riders by the middle of the season.
    (There is no debating this). And this has nothing to do with Dylan Ferrandis riding like a maniac out there. (Ricky Carmichael, Bubba Stewart, even Chad Reed and Travis Pastrana and many other top riders used to do the same thing.)
    Oh and I have been riding for more than 40 years, so don't come at me with all that BS about whatever you are thinking. It is the truth that the recreational sport of motocross is about to disappear. And mainly because of what the parents see on television of this Sport. (Same with youth football...)

    You guys really suck at your penalizing people. You penalized Faulkner 2 positions for cutting a turn but you see Dylan try and take out both of the GEICO honda riders and you slap his wrist. Sorry but you guys made a mistake, he should have lost the first place, it's easy to see he planned on taking Craig out, there was no letting off the throttle til he was on the ground and even then he still was on the throttle. And then he did the same move to Lawerence but it didn't work the same way, not to mention he did it to Faulkner as well and you guys gave him a slap on the wrist. Fix your system cause it's not looking good for you guys if you keep making these calls.
