Installing an 02j cable shift box into a mk1 caddy

What holds the front of the shift box up to the floor if the bolts have to be cut off?

I want to do this on my mk1 , do you have the link to buy the correct engine mounts ? And you have any manual about this gearbox swap ?

Can you use a original 1.7 8v whit a o2j transmission

Yes. All vw watercooled 4cyl are the same bellhousing bolt pattern. You will need the 02j clutch and flywheel.
