Interesting video. I missed home with the beautiful mountains, hills and valleys. I hope the communities were beautifully well planned Thank you for bringing back memories. God bless you.
Wow! Thank you, Tripple-A. Great improvement. I have the opportunity to go there to York. The road from Mambo to the peninsula going to York Village was very bad, dusty, and dangerous. Thanks again. One day, you'll show us York and the lovely beach with black sand😊
Thank you triple -A for another video.Wow,it was like you read my mind, because I was really eager to know the status of completion of that road, and wondering when it was ever going to be completed!.. they have shifted the completion date of that road so many times.I have been searching for videos for the latest update on this road. This road is so important for tourism,a revenue generator for the economy.I watched to the bridge 😊. Exactly my thoughts , triple -A;We missed the opportunity of making that peninsula drive the most exclusive and beautiful area of Sierra Leone, and even Africa!I don't really understand the love affair of Freetown inhabitants with those illegal, lawless ,indecent makeshift shacks" bafas and pan bodi",that are clearly in the right of way,and not supposed to be there in the first place.U see wetin mek ar lek upland videos dem- mostly greenery and less to none shacks! We need a SLRA with the courage to rid the main roads of these eyesores, and I wonder why having street lights on these main roads is such an alien 👽 concept for these governments!...mi ar tire sef!!
This is an admirable road construction project that once more proves the Salonean endevour to develop traffic infrastructure rapidly. A modern and comfortable road without toll station! I wished to find any in my country. 😲
Thanks so very much Triple A for sharing this video The construction is very impressive interesting names like one house borbor and the bridge love you ❤❤❤
My bro we have try I have seen the bridge and the rest of work left is not that much, in construction money delay work but maada has try in the past five year for both hill bye pass and the peninsula road.
It would appear that they have resumed construction . In October 2023, I made many trip to tokeh and God, the road was terrible. I’m sure it had to do with the raining season
For some reason I think the #2 road (going to d beach)delay is deliberate coz those guys have been collecting that money for as long as I can remember bt no progress maybe just maybe they feel they will miss out on that everyday collection if the road is made
The area is really opening, there r lots of people n houses even businesses there now. But the road construction needs a lift. They’ve done well though. But it’s been a long time coming.
Good morning 🙏 🌄 ☺️ 💓 ✨️ 💛 to you AAA. So, yes I know Tokeh and the road was horrible in 2010 when I was in Sierra Leone 🇸🇱 on business that failed in miserably. After I dispossed of all my vehicles, I had to start traveling/travelling on board poda poda. So, I happened to be dropped off at Tokeh by poda poda from Waterloo/Tombo area. From Tombo I boarded a vehicle that only stopped ✋️ at Tokeh where I got stuck. A private individual had to do me a favour/favor and drove me to Number 2 River where I was going to check on my late sister-in-law's numerous properties. The road from Tokeh to Number 2 River was horrible 😫 😢 😩 😞 😕 😐 in 2010 but the driver and I got there safely. After my task was over I had to take Okada to Lumley and from there I struggled to find a poda poda to go to Regent where I was lodging. Man,it was quite 👌 an experience for me from Waterloo to Tokeh which was fine; but from Tokeh to Number 2 River was hell on earth. From Number 2 River to Lumley wasn't too bad. But I still love that Peninsular Area --- yes indeed I love ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️ 💕 💘 the Peninsular and Mountain ⛰️ area too!
Thank God for the up and coming micro city at John Obey- TAF city Salone- it will give those uncivilized people the opportunity to finally see a well- planned, decent and modern city. It's sad it had to take an African foreigner (uncle Njai) to show us how a decent city should look.!
There's been a great improvement on the infrastructure, but like Triple -A so admirably said, the lack of planning is quite evident, forget about the "pan-bodies," they could be easily disposed of, whenever the time comes, to expand the roads, my fear right now, is that people would want to slowly deface the beautiful mountains in the background, which is our national treasure, by building houses haphazardly on them, without no rhyme, reason or planning, just because they can. Sierra Leone could be one of the most beautiful tourist attractions in the whole of Africa, more beautiful than Cape Town South Africa, or Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, if the government can rein in land grabbing, and building structures in areas, that are precious and ecologically fragile to our native flora and funa.
I understand people have to erk out a living but not at the expense of making almost the whole of Freetown a glorified open market place and embarrassing eyesore.
Thanks for your the good work. The video is great I watched it from the beginning to the end
Awesome, thank you!

Could not have said it better
Sorry for the long comment, but I had to" blow mind"
Dis nar do 21st century for God's sake, and these governments see the installation of street lights as an alien 👽 concept - it's so frustrating 😔!
I really love the is area. But I wish people would stop calling it Freetown. It is Peninsular. It is sooooo far from Freetown
I understand people have to erk out a living but not at the expense of making almost the whole of Freetown a glorified open market place and embarrassing eyesore.
