Lik the othr guy said thats actually a Turning back kick, not a spinning back kick. Chuck actually landed tht technique on Vitor Belfort in thr fight rit up under the arm pit area. Chuck was one of the best Karate guys ever in MMA. His stance/way carried hs hands, footwork, kicks,& punches(straights, overhands) were all Karate base. Chuck's strong Karate base is wr all of hs pwer cme frm/hips. He also incorparated Boxing in hs punches lke the jab/hooks/uppercuts. Karate mixed w/Boxing is dangerous
@FLASH2394 He isn't doing a fully extended kick obviously.. The kick he's showing is for close range and it is a sneak attack disguised by the low kick. It travels up and under like an upper cut.. as opposed to Cung Le's style which goes straight through the opponent. Chuck is showing the upper cut technique.
@TheAngeltoDemon NO. This is a back kick. Cung Lee does the side kick so does GSP, there's 90 degree of difference in the hips rotation between these two kicks. the back kick is more more more powerfull because it's faster than the turning side which uses a 270 degree angle. Hope u understood what i mean.
Fat is necessary as it cushions the body against blows. Having too much is not good, but having too little can lead to your muscles taking the brunt of the impact, which is never a good thing no matter how buff or ripped you are.
@MetalNat11593 "win him a legendary fighter of MMA" thats makes no sense im gonna asume that u ment MADE him a legendary fighter, but still that wasnt this technique at all. when have u seen the iceman use a spinning back kick that made a difference in a fight? never!
his technique is wrong. his knee should be higher and he should be extending more. the power is in the extension the rotation is just adding on to the power already there. its a common mistake
When did Chuck ever threw a kick?? Since when he became a kick expert?? He should had used that spinning kick in the fights, not now! Now he's trying to teach something that he never put to practice. Poor students!!

In my opinion this kick is much more effective than a spinning back kick. You telegraph it less and that inside leg kick set up is sweet
A Kempo purist ,Chuck still rules
Very good teacher

Chuck's style is sick
just because Rogan never fights in ufc doesn't mean he doesn't know anything he has a legit black belt in Tae Kwon do and jujitsu
Although accurate that isn't rogan
Chuck liddel the best ♥
Better fighter than teacher...

Knocked a guy out with a headkick, and hurt someone with an SB before. Can't remember the names, but Kempo is legit.
Pineapple Toothpaste that was a plain old round house kick not a spinning kick of any kind
