Riv was my favorite venue rubbed a polish on the bronze statue showgirls butts for good luck many times over, every time i walked in the door. Hit my most important win that kept me gambling my last day on one trip where my last $5 I'd set aside for gambling went into a penny elvis slot machine, three wins later i managed a $400 pay out that carried me through my final day of the trip.
I notice a huge difference at the casino I frequent. They have a class 2 section and I’ve played a lot of the machines… I typically only play them when my bank roll is larger because they really seem to eat the money up. Class 3 machines have more consistency and after years of playing certain ones you can get a good “feel” of how they play and what to expect during a session. Class 2 games don’t have that in my opinion.
Odd....in IT and this is traditionally a slow time and this year has been especially slow. The IT gods will ensure I pay for this comment!

Depends on how much risk you want to put into your play. $1k bankroll in the high limit room could be gone within 10 minutes, but you could also get very lucky. We'd recommend staying around the $5-$10 max bet range.
Can slot techs play where they work?
it all depends on the place they work what rules they have , i have heard some casinos that will not let employees play at all and other casinos allow them to gamble.
Can a slot manager tell you if a certain machine is in their facility?

I checked out the Tropicana demo date and found that the demolition permit has been filed. Setup is scheduled to start on September 30th, with work scheduled to be completed by October 8th. The info was posted 2 days ago. Does this jive with your info?
yes, but there is an allowance for a delay if conditions are not right , they will delay set up one week
