Bless this man! This church may be huge and has alot of tech, but is keeping Jesus the main point, and making sure those who serve are also growing spiritually. Bless you sir!

Serving here at Falls Creek on Media Staff this summer has been one of the biggest blessings and spiritual growths I've ever experienced. Seeing all these kids coming to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior is so amazing. This whole experience at Falls Creek is life-changing, whether you are a student or a staff member. Jesus is Awesome!

Glad to see Michael is still there. We were there a few years ago and he was glad to show us around and answer all the questions we had.

My 1st year of Falls Creek was the 1st year that building was used. So many great memories there.

Leading worship at Falls Creek is a career highlight of mine. And not because of the awesome AVL tech and room, but because working with Michael was so incredible. His passion for both tech and the people is so evident with every interaction.

I worked here when everything got shut down during COVID quarantine times. I was tasked with cleaning all the chairs in the tabernacle, which took nearly a month to complete. They were just trying to keep us busy. Anyways, I’m a huge hardcore/death metal/heavy music fan & I was blasting all sorts of heavy Christian music & that sound system was so impressive to play music on. It would shake the floor. I didn’t realize, however, that I was also broadcasting this music across the grounds of camp all day, and so I lost access to the aux pretty quick 😂

Grew up going to Falls Creek, started going a couple years before they opened this space (So I got a couple years in the hot hot Amphitheater lol). I used to help run sound and lights for my youth group at my home church so I was always blown away by all the tech and always wanted to see this BTS stuff. I'm not involved with religious stuff anymore but finally 16 years later, this has answered so many questions I had back then hahaha. Glad I came across this video.

Love seeing Michael doing what he loves, such a good guy, had the opportunity to play drums for a few events when he was running sound for them. This definitely inspired me to look into working with him this next summer. Thank you for this great video Ryland!

I couldn't go through his whole tour in one go--too much information!
Thanks Michael for this tour, it seemed like you didn't take a breath at all. 😉
I will take the last part--"The Why"--and post that to our local tech group, OK?

Having gone through the building to see all the gear and design elements in the first couple of years it was open, it's nice to see how they have adjusted and kept up with technology. Maybe you could get an interview with the guy that helped design the systems and insisted on the extremely low noise floor?

The coverage of the sanctuary when I was there in 2022 was not as even as it needed. But its such a large facility so I can see how it would be hard to get even coverage all throughout.

It's a conference center. They host events all throughout the year. Youth camp is the largest though.
