    I believe in doing everything with excellence when doing something for the Lord but I never thought of it the way you quoted at the end. We have have the greatest message so it should be presented the best we can.
    That’s awesome

    I really like how everyone really knows their stuff. I can tell that they have spent a ton of time making this the best it can be! And that bass rig is v nice.

    We are in the very beginning phase of a building project that will be centered around a 600 seat worship center. It’s great to see how people are leveraging tech in that size of space. I am drooling over that cable cam, I must admit!😂

    Dang. It's so cool seeing all this stuff, but our church is so far away from ever being able to accomplish any of that.

    • @RylandRussell

      I know what you mean, but take one small thing and try it. Maybe it’s camera locations. Maybe it’s a mic technique. As long as we keep trying to give it our best that’s what counts. 👍🏻

      I know what you mean, but hopefully you guys are already accomplishing what this church is: SPREADING THE GOSPEL. When working in tech for a church, be sure to intentionally keep THE WHY at the forefront of the mind. Imagine preaching the gospel and thinking to yourself, "man this sucks; our church can't even afford...". Then Jesus walks in the room and tells you He's been hearing your thoughts as you preach. Do you think the next thing he'll say is "job well done" or "you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary."?

      It’s about doing the best that you can and being the as faithful as you can with what the Lord has given you. It’s like the parables about the servants with the talents. Be faithful and the Lord will reward you.

    Ryland....man your Behind the Scenes segments are top notch. The questions you ask behind Camera are great!
    I need help Brother with LED screens and banding. Did you shoot this video with GH5/GH6? What refresh rate do they run their screens. What shutter speed and frame rate are they running.
    Also, I kinda got lost in the weeds with the NOVASTAR controllers (H2). We have a LED wall from a company in Doral, FL (Pixel pitch ~2.97). We had to change our Sony Mirrorless cams to Panasonic GH5s.

      Thanks! For this bts I was on the Canon RP and my tech director was on gh5. We were shooting 29.97 at 1080p. I believe their cameras may be genlocked somehow. I'll see if I can find out.

    Super enlightening tour. We really appreciate your efforts. I'd like to know if they coupled foh digico SD 8 setup with a broadcast room or mix, or they only used the sd 8 alone for both foh and broadcast just as they're using the new digico

  • @TheAwesomeGuy101
    @TheAwesomeGuy101 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hmm.
    It seems they're also running vmix and some-sort of other software? (On the side?)
    The UI seems familiar i guess it's vmix and wirecast. Or perhaps the Ross software.

    We were trying to use Companion with ProPresenter 7, but there is a bug in ProPresenter that Renewed Vision has decided not to fix.

    • @RylandRussell
      @RylandRussell  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Is it causing crashing? Newest beta?

    • @TimothyFish
      @TimothyFish 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@RylandRussell, yes. There was a workaround that turned off certain ProPresenter API calls, but we were still seeing ProPresenter crash, occasionally, while using Companion. Renewed Vision doesn't want to fix it because they see it as third-party software causing the problem. I'm of the opinion that software should be robust enough that third-party software can't cause a problem.

    this is awful for a multitude of reasons.
    - non broadcast cameras with a documentary lens? just buy ursa, hitachi, or go big with sony, panasonic
    - 3 teradeks? thats a joke. there are millions of better ways to optimize the setup
    - the rigging for the cameras is the ugliest i have ever seen and it looks nowhere near comfortable
    - BMD color with canon color? gross
    - why do you have an unused monitor arm and 3+ monitors on the desk?
    - why are there PCs just on the floor???
    - TD desk is way too messy
    - why are the Ki Pro recorders not rackmounted?
    - the cable management for the gfx desk is so bad i want to cry
    - IS THAT A UPS JUST ON THE FLOOR?!?
    many more problems i have personally but i honestly should just stop complaining. sucks that big budget churchs dont set stuff up well
