I'm a qualified engineer👩💻 from South Africa. Part-time, I share how you can make money online. I have been working online on the side for 4yrs+. When I was a student abroad, I wanted to be able to make some money for additional needs and personal investments. That's how I found a new world of online jobs, and I have never looked back since. Going through laborious process only to be turned down or not get a response. Quite exhausting and depressing. I am given hope that you know exactly how it is. I know the feeling 😫that’s why I never wanna come here and sell yall dreams cause I know quality opportunities, be it jobs or side business, are not easy. The rejection emails from those online jobs can be discouraging. You start to question if you are not good or smart enough. When I started online jobs over 4yrs ago, I did it alone with no support or people to relate to but y’all don’t have to do this alone. I am no expert but I have experience,knowledge & compassion.

Hi Nosipho. The video is truly informative, thank you. My question is, about the reference part of the cv, that you didn't ellaborate on the video, for a person who the experience, and for the ones who don't have experience.

In Europe or USA, employers almost never require reference details. So the general standard is putting“available on request. Some people do put the reference but it’s not a requirement.
But if you have experience, or you are applying for a job that needs experience and your experience is somewhat useful/related to the potential role, I recommend including the references.
In rare cases, the new potential employer may want to contact previous one but for non experience/no degree jobs like Invisible tech agent jobs, references are not necessary. You won’t lose anything by adding them but they most likely won’t contact anyone.
The above applies mainly to remote roles.
For in person roles abroad,basically roles that require you to physically move, definitely references are needed cause they want to verify everything & your experience.

You definitely need to tailor the cv for each job. One size fit all doesn’t work. The most important sections that need to change are: objective summary, experience & or key skills. Always make sure you align them to the job description.

Did you use a normal word doc or one of those templates you find online? I suggest you used plain word doc, with no boxes or frames.

Can someone please assist me I'm using a meccer laptop and I'm struggling to take a screenshot. Amd it's the only thing that's keeping me from applying for invisible technology.
I have just checked online by typing ” how to take a screenshot with meccer laptop” here’s how you can take one: “The PrtScn key is mostly on the top-right corner of the keyboard. Press the key to take a screenshot of the entire screen of the laptop in a clipboard,”
I suggest typing the same question and check different websites that show you how to do it.
You can click on the keys [SHIFT, WINDOWS KEY & the letter S] one after another and keep holding them, at the top, there will be a shortcut to click on using the mouse cursor. OR Long press the [WINDOWS KEY+PrtSc KEY] then there will be a shortcut to click on using the mouse cursor at the top of the screen.

No cause the jobs usually require 40hrs per week.
But Nosi, what do we write on our cv when applying as I'm still employed
@@radiancep-qk1wv You can write your current experience and employment timeframe but should you go through, they will ask you if you intended to leave your current job as the jobs require 40hrs. To which you should answer yes.
So don’t quit your job before securing the other one.
Technically, one could do two jobs if located in Africa/Asia cause of the timemezones. But it will be hard for sure .

If you mean your degree etc, then yes you don’t need to. They will request once you are hired if they need them. Companies abroad don’t care for your docs like in SA😂of course you should always be truthful as they may want them in future but they are not necessary during the application. They take your word if you say u hv x experience or x qualification.
If there is an option to add a particular doc in the application process, then add otherwise no need to send it until it is requested. This includes your ID etc, don’t send upfront unless requested in the application form.

Hello Nosipho. I am on the verge of homelessness & need money fast. Please suggest side gigs/hussles that can make me +$200 a month. This gig must have very little to no requirements. I do not own a laptop. So no laptop jobs. Please also provide links. That would be great help.
If you are really on the verge of homelessness I would suggest you do all the research yourself with whatever device you have. Sitting around and waiting for links will definitely not help your situation. Nosipho also once advised that not having a laptop is never an excuse, you can go to an internet cafe then when you start earning money you make sure to buy a laptop very quickly. It’s time to stand up and fight yourself out of situations. No more waiting for suggestions or links. You have to do the work yourself. 🙏🏾 All the best

Yes you can add it. Posting on LinkedIn is not a requirement for getting jobs. I have never posted anything ever. Just make sure your profile (not your feed) is updated and you’re good to go. Add your education, even if it’s high school, any experience, banner and title.
