Nice promotion material. One thing we are forgetting in all of this is that this kind of credit card activity increases your spending habits and at the end of the day you would be saving less than before, and it's this savings which is going to make you rich and not spending unnecessarily in the hope of getting a tiny cashback.

Flipkart Axis Card has 1.5% cashback for every transaction. So the extra money that you make from liquid funds can be directly earned from cashbacks. Also for many other merchants, they have higher cashbacks. Just an FYI. It used to be free in between, but now they charge yearly fees and it does not have the option of splitting the payments into 3. Really enjoy your videos.

First of all it's difficult to get 6% from any liquid fund. At most 3.30% anyone can get. AMC or any broker app generally show the statistics in such a way that people think they will get 6-7% return. That number CAGR value for 3 year duration.
Next, as per RBI guidelines you can withdraw 90% of the total investment or 50000(whichever is minimum). So make sure to withdraw the required amount on time, and don't miss out bill payment due to lack to total amount.

    Ankur sir,
I was hoping and waiting for you to make this video :)
While the concept is nice, to be able to have a 3 months, no cost EMI card, Uni still has quite a long way to go.
The 1% cashback, while sounds nice in terms of actual cash being reduced from the bill, if it is considered to be a reward rate, is actually less than the ones offered by other major card companies. The biggest plus point for this card, as of today, is that fuel surcharge is waived off, irrespective of the vendor, hence, there it shines. No surcharge plus the 1% off, otherwise, there is still a huge scope of improvement. This card is best for people who want to build up a credit score or are quite new to the credit card game.
Your videos are informative and honest. Thank you :)
    Regards.

One of the greatest tip I would like to give to people, which i do it for myself since i started using credit card- I have opened a separate bank account for keeping my credit card expenses, so whenever i purchase something/ pay bills through it, i move that amount into that bank account instantly, so at the end of the day my picture is clear with the funds i have available for running my month. Trust me, you guyz would never fall in trap.

Hey Ankur there big catch that you probably missed?
Their website mentions: "Choose to pay in full, POST the 30 days free credit period & enjoy 1% rewards in the form of cashback."
So one would be eligible for cashback if he pays after credit free period, so that attracts 3-3.5% / month interest. So effectively you will loose 2-2.5%.
You please need to update your video as soon as possible.

Nope! You're confused. All credit cards have a billing cycle of 30 days. Then you get 20 days time to pay off the bill. Which means 50 days interest free credit period. If you pay in full after 30 days and before 50 days, no charges at all. If only you don't pay the full due amount after the 50 days' time, you're charged interest. But, Uni card allows us to pay 1/3 of the bill amount instead of the entire bill at zero interest!

If you will use that for monthly spend of 3,00,000 Rs., than card it self will give cashback of min.6,000 Rs. and that is 72,000 Rs. in a year.
Also, on top of that 72k, one can add liquid mutual fund profit and also add some more money if credit card bill will be paid by CRED.

Hello Ankur, Thanks, for the video!
I have a question regarding investing in a liquid mutual fund. Is there a possibility where a liquid fund's current value could go down just like stocks? The reason for asking you this question is because I had invested in a liquid fund where the current value is down by .5%.
    Thanks in advance.

Doesn’t this effect our credit score ? I have read that to maintain a good credit score we have to utilise only 10-30% of our credit limit which obviously won’t be a huge amount

What if credit card itself provides cashback of 1-1.5% cashback.. do we still need the uni card then..?

No you need not... But there is a small difference... In regular credit cards all the Cashbacks that you earn in the current billing cycle get credited to the card during the next billing date... But in uni pay card you need not pay the total doesn't amount...there will be 1% discount when you are paying the whole due as per the current month statement

    Hi Ankur,
    As usual, solid content.
Wanted to highlight that when you will pay all of your 3 Lk in one go in first month itself to avail that 1% cashback ,then the theory of putting your capital in MF does not hold valid and total saving will be Rs 36000 ( 3000*12) not Rs 54000 ( |3000+1500|*12)
Am I making a point here, Ankur?

You'll be making the full payment with next month's salary as the period for payment is 45 days. The previous month's salary is what you'll be investing in Liquid funds. His calculations are right.
