A very old waltz, known in America since colonial days. It has been used for many songs, among others: "Old Rosin, the Beau", memories of an old fiddler; "Lincoln and Liberty, Too", Abraham Lincoln's campaign song; and "Acres of Clams", a folk song of the Puget Sound in Washington State.
