  • What’s up guys! This is the 2023 Chevy Trailblazer LT and it’s a sweet and affordable 5 seater CUV. Aggressive looking and reasonably capable makes this a strong competitor in its class! Also with a 1.2 liter 3 cylinder turbo it’s quite the unique set up.

      I’m planning on getting this same model with AWD.
      How is the cabin / road noise?
      I wanted the Active with AWD but it’s out of my price range.

      @ysmith494 the cabin noise is pretty minimal, my only complaint is it needs better speakers for music. I'm still in love with the car itself though and wish I went with the all wheel drive model.

    Just got my 2023 Trailblazer LT last week. 1.3l FWD with convenience and driver confidence package. Mahogany Red Metallic color. So far so good. Works well for what needed in a car. Though I wish it got a better back up camera like my friend's Nissan Kicks.

    2023 LS AWD here. Had it for 10 months, 21k miles. Awesome overall so far. Decent pickup, always 30 mpg in mixed driving, love the ability to shift on the fly from FWD to AWD. One weird thing I had immediately was trouble with radio/bluetooth. Took it right back to dealer, instantly fixed.

    @AutomotiveAnonymous208 Nice review.
    What is the total fuel range? Just curious the difference between the front wheel and all wheel drive model.

    • @AutomotiveAnonymous208
      @AutomotiveAnonymous208  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks! The AWD difference seems to be slightly greater than the larger engine. AWD 1.3T rated at as low as 26/30 so a full 13.2 gallon tank is 346 City or 396 highway. And other combinations would be slightly better than these numbers. Although the biggest MPG factors are how heavy your right foot is and how much time you have. 😉

    Good review. Is the ride comfort?comfortable?? Stiff,Firm,or Fairly smooth?? Please advise .
    Could you give actual dimensions in inches?? Thanks 😮

    • @AutomotiveAnonymous208
      @AutomotiveAnonymous208  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it’s fairly smooth, it’s designed to be comfortable and not overly stiff on the road as that wouldn’t be as comfortable where this type of SUV likely will spend most of its time. Definitely go test drive one to distinguish its ride comfort for yourself though! 🙂 174” L x 71” W x 65-66” H

    I owned a 2021 trailblazer for 2 years and I hated it. I came across quite a few issues like having the awd service message constantly popping up on my dash since 3,000 miles. Another problem I had was that the locking and unlocking mechanism on my right rear passenger door, it just wouldn’t work. I did nothing but baby that car and still came across some big issues. Thankfully it was a lease and I obviously decided to get something else. I now own a 2023 Mazda 3 hatch and I am so happy with Mazda’s quality control with their cars.

    • @AutomotiveAnonymous208
      @AutomotiveAnonymous208  ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m sorry to hear about those issues. They look so good but build quality appears to be the trade off in the price. Glad you’re enjoying your 3! I also just got a Mazda. 🙂

    • @AutomotiveAnonymous208
      @AutomotiveAnonymous208  ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s a great question. You’d likely have to check the specific vehicle you want on a dealers website or build one on the manufacturers site to know for sure. I would think it doesn’t come standard as that’s typically an option that they like to charge a couple hundred bucks for. 🤦‍♂️😛

      I do hope these powertrains prove to be reliable with time. But with how many have already been sold parts should be somewhat readily available soon and aftermarket support may build if they end up needing replacements. 🤷‍♂️
      Edit: part of the reason I hope they’re reliable and someday a modifiable platform is because of what companies like ZZP have done with the 1.4 Turbo engines.
