I'm a recovering heroin addict, and just wanted to thankyou for sharing your time. As for learning something new that materializes on paper is better than any drug. The euphoria and confidence I've gotten in the past year is incomprehensible until you try it. I promise it can be salvation. I wasted 20 years by not trying to be creative, and 20 years of closed mindedness. Teaching, and helping someone like me must feel similar in comparison to learning. I hope others try it out. Thanks again👍

Just a tip, other artists often list the materials they use in the video description so they don't have to answer the same questions over and over and over....LOL! Doesn't eliminate them entirely but it does reduce the number of them and once viewers get used to that info being there, they can just look it up themselves. Beautiful work, thank you so much for taking the time to teach the rest of us!!

This has got to to be my favorite charcoal drawing video, so far, Aaron !! I've been drawing for 53 years / professionally for 38 years (so far) and watching & listening to you; caused me to learn some new techniques, plus relearn some forgotten ones too. Thankx so much for this one. Please do some more like this one...

Fantastic to see how you just nailed it in the first go. Not a single time did you need to erase and correct a line. I look forward to the day I hopefully will be that confident and experienced. I know, I know... practise, practise - and I do. Thank you so much, Aaron, for sharing your knowledge. I always enjoy watching your videos - and I learn a lot. Best regards from Anna, Denmark.

When he first stands up, it’s not only not in the way but we can see his reference picture. I would have said “ this is perfect , just keep doing what your doing”. Then he sits down and no reference. It helps to see what your doing when we can see the pic. Fantastic drawing
