How in the hell did a judge approve this warrant? It sounds to me that that particular judge should have been brought up on Judicial Imprudence.

In the corrupt state of California you can’t win when they are on the Cults payroll ! Also the state of Florida was purchased by the cult ! Look how Florida handled the elections, they lost the votes or the voting machines were broken or dead people voted or something? In this video the two off duty police officers were on LRH payroll, why else would they be outside their jurisdiction????

There's no way that was done by a real court. No court can let a few weirdos come in & photo every once of your place & of course they found the weird pornos....their magnets to it.... but some maybe cop & off duties I heard them talking about. That "cop" didnt know jack shot & ESPECIALLY when he's saying these weirdos can just grab anything in this room without you seeing it & they can just take it. My ass... all the comments about ko's & second amendment add me for both of those in my house & my property.

TBH Since what he wants to do most is expose the Church, no not "church" THE CULT it actually is a good idea to let them do this because it shows them in a bad light. If he had simply turned them away people wouldn't care as much and he wouldn't have grounds for a lawsuit or pressing charges on them and now he does.
I would 100% let them in just so I could document how fucked up and above the law they think they are and also expose the police in that city if they do nothing about this bullshit. At the end of the day he can get all that information back but showing them as the fucking criminals they are? Priceless. ESPECIALLY since The Times was there and doing a piece on them.

This was obviously not legal. It is possible they had a court order, but that doesn't mean _their_ employess can touch anything. That only means that the executor (possibly a forensic analyst) can seize anything and analyze it on behalf of the court. At no point should the CoS employees have access to anything. WTF...

As a Brit though, I find it difficult to understand why they were allowed in in such a way and then to remain and be so invasive. The idea of private property being for the best is moot, but if we base our societies around these principles, then they must be upheld. There seems to be a hat-trick of corrupt 'officials', each backing up the last.

Imagine yahoo front page taking 60-90 seconds to load...We plugged our connection into our phone jack. I didn't check email daily until 1999 I think. I didn't start reading news or gossip online until 2001 or 2002. Cell phones were rare in small town USA. If you had a cell phone in 1995 it was for calling home or emergencies only. The police officer probably did not understand what Dennis explained regarding personal info on files as computer knowledge was not known. It is strange how much life has changed and our dependence on technology.

If I decided to fight against the Church of Scientology, I'd use a false email address, utilize a computer from the public library & a hard drive that's kept in my best friend's nephew's closet. If Dennis Erlich wants to pick fights (I don't blame him), he had to be prepared for dirty tricks. Period.

They took a photo of Dennis 'adult video' collection in a closet, which is the most fucking disgraceful breach of privacy I've ever seen and had nothing to do with the court order! I had to stop watching about half way through as it was making me livid, you were right not to watch it.

How could they legally gain entrance?

    • @HotaruZoku
      @HotaruZoku 9 ปีที่แล้ว +4

+RetSquid It's not a question of legality. I doubt those were even real cops. You flash a badge and swing your dick around, most people are going to acquiesce, and fast. Which of course is the point. We're led to believe the only way to challenge this kind of thing is in court. THEIR court. The same court that ostensibly sided with them enough to issue said "waver of human dignity" in the first place. The very thought of direct resistance? Would you get into a fist fight with a tank? Or at least...what APPEARED to be a tank?
it's always easier to say they should have challenged them from the comfort of ones home, viewing a video rather than being part of something unexpected.

It's never brought up in the video, and I don't know the story well enough to say one way or the other. Maybe. These people don't really go in for much of that "Assuming themselves to be under the law they wield" kind of thing, so I'm tempted to believe not, but all it takes is one judge and one favor.

+Johnny Fartpants It's a symptom of trying to out-respect each other. A lot of people take enormous pride in working with law enforcement, even and especially when it's not in their best interests to do so.
It's what makes them "patriots" and "good people". I suspect it's also a clever way of not having to face the idea of armed would-be executioners rifling through your shit on a whim really means to the rest of their life.

Go into a church, ask the priest/minister what Christianity is about,
they'll sit down with you, explain and show stuff from the Bible.
Go into a mosque, ask the imam what Islam is about, they'll sit down
with you, explain and show stuff from the Quran.
Go into a synagogue, ask the Rabbi what Judaism is about, they'll sit
down with you, explain and show stuff from the Torah.
Scientology? They'll sell you books and courses, and duck simple questions.

+Trust me, i'm an expert on this They have a court order and on top of that being he was in Scientology I believe he is still brain washed to believe they're more powerful than they truly are. A simple you're not coming into my home until I've read the 600+ pages of the court order, hire a lawyer, and have a police presence here would have sufficed to not let them in. There is absolutely no way anyone would have reasonable time to read that stack of legal papers nor understand all of it without a legal background.

    • @SCD4

    • @meganhale6164

SCD4 Agreed. Sadly, those within Scientology are brainwashed to believe that certain groups within the organization have authority they don't actually have. I wouldn't have let anyone in my home without a court order, police presence, my own legal representation, and only after my own lawyer had read through that ridiculous legal document.
