Does look like that little Krait has been put together really well, although as you did point out the marring on that valve body, really does stand out. Thanks for the video.
no anti tampers 👍 excellent job mate . i do enjoy your videos my friend that’s for sure . looking forward to seeing the work done on this one , i think it’s a pretty good rifle off the bat. that shroud sounds very interesting 👌
Well, I couldn't wait any longer, it was either this, FX Maverick or BRK Ghost. Not a fan of the cocking arm on the Maverick and Brocock wouldn't sell me the Ghost in .25 unless I had an FAC, so bit the bullet and ordered the Krait in .25. Counting the days. :)
Bought this this rifle (sub12 .22) at the NEC show friday from Jim at the airmaks/crawley surplus store booth after seeing the reviewes by russdouglas222 and verminhunterstv, went with an immersive optics 5x30 and a short weihrauch xlk. Next morning scope on, barrel cleaned 5 shoots to zero, stunning, very happy with this purchase, first stage on the trigger though is very short. Inspection ticket gave the date 14/02/23, so presume the new type of reg is fitted (black nut as opposed to S/S). I told Jim that no dust cap on the fill port was was strange, low and behold he produced one made by yourself...many thanks, nice workmanship.
Glad your happy they are great little guns 👍 you do have adjustment on the trigger we are going to do a vid on it, but it is the rod length needs adjusting👍 all the guns on the stand are the newest version with the latest regs 👍
Having recently found your channel, I’ve subscribed and have enjoyed catching up with some of your older videos. I’m thinking about buying the Krait and fitting it with an Arken Zulus night vision scope. Can you tell me if the Krait’s scope rail can be easily reversed (fitted back to front)? I’m thinking that it’s built in 20 MOA coupled with the Zulus’ 30 MOA will be too much to correctly center the reticle. Great channel, thanks for posting these detailed videos.
Great video. Huma now makes a way better regulator for these guns that reallllllllly helped out our performance on our full power version. The installation video is on my channel and on Huma's website. Very straight forward.
Hopefully, I will own the 605mm version before the summertime, I need for it being small and light. As I am disabled with very bad lung problems. My breathing technique is all over the place, as you can imagine. I'm good if I jump stay in one place. So if I'm rating, it's not too bad. My brocock concept xr is just a little bit too heavy it's a shame, really, as I do like the brocock. Hopefully, I'll will get to have my operation of a lung reduction.
It puts more or less pre load on the valve return spring, it's a very under rated tuning aid and can make big differences to lock time, efficiency, and fps 👍
Very informative video. Would love one but just can't justify the expence at the moment. If an expensive rifle like this has no anti-tamper screws why does my Kral Empire XS have so many.
A/T is just down to who brings them in to the UK there is no law that says we have to have them, it's just the importers and some fit them and some don't thanks for watching 👍
Hi we made delrin spacers up to time the gauges, they have an O ring on the base so unless they are very close you wouldn't be able to time them buy just rotating
@@markjohnson2166 yes i saw that, i was a little worried but our one is fine, the image he shows with all the damage on the shaft of the plunger looks like it was done when removing it but you cant say for sure, i am keeping an eye on the reg though
Excellent video I enjoyed every second 👍 nice to see no real issues internally with yours and tbh after seeing this I'd consider this rifle again. I was excited for this rifle, then all the bad press put me off, shame because the issues they initially had will no doubt be hearsay for some time to come 🙄 good to see its been rectified now tho 💪 Looking forward to the next one and can't wait to see what you do with it 👌 atvb
thanks👍 it's a pretty well made little gun, i was interested in the reg issues but this one is spot on no issues at all, looking at the reg there is know reason it shouldn't work properly so maybe the MK3 reg has sorted the problems 👍
Looks like a nicely built rifle, also nice to see no ridiculous & awkward anti tampers 😁
cheers Mate 👍
Love seeing how these things work, haven't got myself a gun as yet, love all the little upgrades, can't wait for the next vid.
thank you, glad you like the content 👍
Very interesting video look forward to the next instalment

thank you 👍 the shroud should be a nice touch on this gun, it's not loud by any stretch but it will be interesting to do
Great disassembly video 👍
Looking forward to seeing the end results with the shroud 👍🙂

Another cracking video Jeff and vert informative looking forward to the next installment Cheers 👌👌👍👍👍👍

Thank you I checked mine and there’s only a grub screw nothing line yours with the hole inside
Thats looks solid and Good
Can we change the plenum 60c to 80c or more if possible in the block and space to do that
i haven't tried that but may be Thanks for watching 😀
@@sub12airgunners i think it will be possible but lets see Thanks
Nice detailed strip down , did you end up having to make a part for the valve restrictor , I have a the older model and there is not one in mine
Hi thank you we re- made the the valve completely and made a restrictor for the block

On the sub 12 stuff it's not needed, the standard reg works very well on our one, i believe it's the MK3
Hi dont suppose you know the 2 x gauge thread sizes as I would like to upgrade to digital gauges
hi 1/8th bsp
Why did airmaks put the air restrict in and if you take it how as you did do you need to put anything in its place or doesn’t it matter
it's to make the gun more efficient if you remove it you may have problems with reg presser being to high
Love the videos have you any rifles For sale regards Chris
we sell them when we finish the vids to get the next one, so the Krait will be the next one on sale

It is nice and light and very easy to hold the Ghost is a great gun bet a lot heaver 👍 thanks for watching
Whats the reason for turning the valve adjuster clockwise or counter clockwise using the adjiuster ?
It puts more or less pre load on the valve return spring, it's a very under rated tuning aid and can make big differences to lock time, efficiency, and fps 👍
@@sub12airgunners - I presume less preload means valve stays open longer so more air escapes ?

hi not been in a Vixen yet but i would say it is

To be honest they are all very similar so not as bad as it looks, thanks for watching 👍
I just bought one of these, it's not even two days old, but I can't pump it up because it lets the air out through the tube!!!😡😡😡
they need a blast of air to fill when they get low
