I hope the writers out there are taking notes of what kind of dramas viewers would like to see. No slow screen staring in the eyes foolishness, and the usual misunderstanding between the two before they come together. This was straight to the point and the ending didnt feel rushed.
Wow wow wow , bravo to the actors most importantly the screenwriter this play was fantastic. It does not leave any holes in the plot and provides a satisfactory ending. All of which they’ve endured they deserved this ending such a beautiful story I rate this a 10/10. It has now ranked number 2 after “ ashes of love” it’s been a long time since any drama came close to first place in my list in my opinion.
Bro this deserves a 100/10. One of the best Chinese drama I have never seen. The ML,FL have the best chemistry ever, it's good to see them working together in another series this year. I hope to see them again future. This drama had been a roller coaster of emotions,. There is comedy, sadness, romance, action and more to explore within it. I have honestly had the best experience of all. I can't get this drama off my mind, it's definitely worth the watch
I feel like they gave us this last episode as a way of cheering us up after sobbing in the previous one. Nice pace to it, didnt feel rushed. Take note people. Defo a re watch. Gunna miss these people xx

After a long time I have watched something beautiful. No extra drama , straightforward story. Beautiful love story. Beautifully written and performed by actors.
I’m so happy we get a WHOLE ep of happy ending and their life together as most shows only show a few mins and it makes me so sad but this ending made me super satisfied ❤❤
Did not want the show to end…. I wish they have a special episode that comes out every year because the vibes are so wholesome. Like I could just keep on watching them go on side quests, or even just chilling in their home. Such a romantic, wholesome, and stable relationship. It’s a rare show where we see characters grow and change their characterization in a gradual and subtle, but meaningful ways. I love that the story contends with tropes too in these types of shows like the immortal realm’s prestige and responsibility, and the inherent evil of demon world, and the inherent duty of Gods. I think it is also rare to have such a complex ML, especially for an Immortal God. Like he’s funny, loyal, and caring, not just stoic. the bar is high up now for ML in other fantasy dramas. And honestly a reason why I feel sad that this drama ended. And the FL is mature, resolute, and straight-forward. So the progression is not delayed from long ahh misunderstandings. I’m surprised there was so much criticism of the age of the actors, dubbing, and not a lot of ppl sticking to the drama. I think they missed a gem with their own biases. I only have minor criticisms, but overall, it was a sweet story that I would rewatch over and over. And I usually don’t rewatch dramas.
😂😂 The scene with 3 of them talking, playing, and drinking seems so natural like real intimate old friends want to see the BTS for it. Xing Zhi acting with Shein Li on that bed was a skill acting and funny at the same time.The way he was stretching when she kiss him 🤣 😂 this whole episode was just amazing especially when they changed their character to fool Mu Zichun.
An absolutely incredible drama. Love it from start to finish. Every single actor was brilliant in their roles and the 2 main leads Zhao Li Ying and Lin Geng Xin where phenomenal!! The chemistry between them off the chart. The pace of the drama was perfect, the stunning scenery, the visuals everything. Thank you to the director, producers, writers, all the crew for creating something so magical and a pleasure to watch. 10/10 this is now in my top 3 Perfect ❤️❤️
It was a delightful lovely drama truely impressed by Ling Yi ...she totally 🔥🔥 in her role ...and again thanks to director for bringing us funny moments specially can't forget Fu rong and his sister knock out scene 🤣🤣🤣
Having never watched a drama of this type, I have to say I enjoyed the heck out of it. The costumes, apecial affects and fight scenes were only outdone by the main actors. Shout out to Fu Rong, Mo Fang and The sister! Loved her!
I remember Gengxin once said that he wants to play a role as Liying. Who would've guessed that his dream would come true in this drama, in that swapping bodies scene. I even never think that he can act like that. Sure, it's not 100% Liying, but he must act as Shen Li from Liying's perspective. He's a pure gem. And he really set the highest standard for the role of gods in any ancient costume drama. Will there be any actors that will come near him for such role in the future? I don't know. But for this time he's on the top. Like his role, he's a shenjun a.k.a. the high god or god king. Shen Li is over and they've already said goodbye, let us talk about another thing. In one of their interview, Gengxin and Liying had made a promise, that when the time comes, there will be third project. And they also said, when there's another, they want it to be different type of drama or maybe a love rival relationship. Third one is charm, eh? So, please don't disappoint us. And for the people in the industry, seriously take this note!! These two are the best you can get for CP, with insanely brilliant chemistry that you couldn't ask for more. Do your magic. And don't make us wait for too long. Because, how on earth that we must wait until they turn out 45 (according to Gengxin) before we will able to see them again together in one frame?? 9 years, since he's now 36?? What kind of joke is that?! Xin Ge, you and your Xing'er (damn you!! Out of nowhere, and you still call her with that certain name in real life, up until now! Are you for real? Why, just why??!!! It only reminds us of that painstakingly traumatizing cliffhanger!!), although we don't know what the future holds, may you two have a successful life, wonderful career and all its beauty can bring. Liying, you and your Gou Ge 213 (of course we also know how you name him in real life), thank you for giving us this mesmerizing drama. You are exceptional as always. We know that you two no longer able to do Princess Agents 2. Because you once said that after Shen Li, you retired from idol fantasy genre. And back then, Xin Ge also said, if you don't want it, then he won't. But at least, you two gave the nod, love letter and a beautiful farewell from Xing'er and Yuwen Yue in this series. Watching Chinese Wuxia and Xianxia dramas for 40+yrs, this is by far the best. Has all the right ingredients and mix. Full of witty romantic comedic tease, ups and downs. We need more dramas like this. Sick of traumatised endings sacrificing the main female characters most of the time.
In other dramas, even if its a happy ending, the viewers cannot get to watch such an ending where the leads get to live happily but we get it here!!! Thanks a million!!!

It's hard to come by a good xianxia drama that gives us a last episode that's as peaceful as this one. This drama is a 10/10 for me, one of the best xianxia I've seen.
I have never seen such a good ending in any dramas!! It's usually in the last few minutes they show the ML(mostly) /FL is resurrected, but they don't really show more than that!!
This c-drama is now put in my "favorite" catergory of c-dramas. I don't have very many listed as favorites, maybe 5 I have listed as "favorites," and this one is definitely one of them now. I will be rewatching this one again and again. It had comedy, romance, betrayal, a happy ending, and great frienships made along the way, and the CGI was good as well. The only complaint I had was the sound...the music was too loud to hear what they were saying at times, but it wasn't so annoying that it took much away from the drama...the drama was good enough that I really didn't care.
I do so enjoy both main actors. Shes great. Kenny lin i find he is underrated. Hes great in drama, historical, dramady n wuxia. I would love to see them both in another wuxia / historical drama series. Awesome
No one's talking about Shen Li's dad, the writer could have given him a better ending. As king of the monsters, he could have subjugated the monsters, killed them off and be free of the abyss. As a reward, let his love be reincarnated and meet in the future. I would have written it this way🥲

Such a enjoyable story to follow. Loved Shen Li so bad ass. Glad I got to see this humorous side of the male lead. Everyone did a great job. What an interesting role Mo Fang was- I'm sure the actor was thrilled.

I agree with all the previous comments. This was one of the best surprise dramas that I have watched. The writers did an excellent job. All the actors were amazing. I would put this on par with Ashes of Love, Love and Redemption and Till the End of the Moon. I sincerely hope there will be a second season 🥰🥰🥰
The series was good from beginning to end ,although my eyes couldn't hold the tears when xing zhi died, him coming back made me happy because losing the only person you have ever love is kind of heart breaking 💔 The writer did a great job, thanks for the series 😊

Nice drama. I have watched a few of Lin Gengxin's dramas. He is not only handson but also very talented. He has a beautiful (naughty) smile. This my 2nd drama of Zhao Liying. (Princess Agent) She is very pretty & a very good actress. I love them both. They make a good pair
Now i'm debating with myself if this is the best or the second best drama i've seen so far. Zhao Liying and Lin Gengxin did a wonderful job with their characters...such superb acting specially Zhao Liying with the battle scenes. Who would have thought that a delicate looking woman could emanate such strenght and power on the screen??!!

Now i'm debating with myself if this is the best or the second best drama i've seen so far. Zhao Liying and Lin Gengxin did a wonderful job with their characters...such superb acting specially Zhao Liying with the battle scenes. Who would have thought that a delicate looking woman could emanate such strenght and power on the screen??!!
