- Took the new AK 917 out for its third run with some new gearing and a better battery and the car did not disappoint. It will however need different tires over 65 mph I believe.

Gee.... 75 mph is awesome... I thought for sure that first hit would have damaged the front ... That was a big chunk and she went airborne .. no damages very impressed.... What a great RC.. looking forward to seeing how it runs with the foams I'd say it will be very different. Great vid bro. 😊

Definitely not a bad car, but after messing with this thing longer, the stock controller is a hindrance to this thing

Great video! I think your the first to hit 75 that I've seen. This car has a ton of potential on such a small chassis. I might have to pick up a roller here soon and toss the kitchen sink at it, lol.
You planning on changing the reciever to one with a built in gyro? Im certain that would help out significantly.

With some other upgrades I’m sure it will hit its 125+. But for what they come with and how it is I’m really impressed for the price! Great video and more wipeouts to come, lol! All part of the fun!!!
Well, that 125+ is kilometers not miles per hour I believe but yes he will definitely have no problem hitting over 100 mph especially with some different tires and maybe ESC

I don’t think those would fit, but I ordered foams off of eBay but I’m not sure if they’re going to be good or not yet as soon as I get them I’ll update
I dont think so. The smaller Hoons are 85mm diameter and these 1/10 scale wheels are more like 65mm
Should get 85+ mph on the smallest spur gear, providing stock tires hold up. Deff need foams, its a ripper for sure.
Yeah, I’m not running it again until I get different tires. The stock ones will not stick to the ground over 75 the foam tire should be here in a day or two

I am going to tell you about my experience with this garbage car and this garbage brand, I bought the Rlaarlo ak 917 carbon fiber version, and the first thing when making the purchase I bought it with fast shipping paying 19 euros more for said shipping, supposedly it arrived in a week, well, lie, it took me 20 days to arrive, when it arrived it arrived with the steering out of adjustment, with one wheel facing one side and the other facing the opposite side, after looking closely at the car I realized that the screw that The connection between the servo arm and the servo horn was loose, and then I realized that one of the two small screws that the servo horn has is missing. In addition, this car has a serious signal loss problem. I am writing to the support. technician of this garbage brand, and until today they have been giving me my time, they say that the missing screw is too small to send it, anyone who buys this car forgets to be able to return it is impossible, they brag that they have good technical support and it is a garbage, just like the customer treatment, I do not recommend products from this brand, it is a waste of money
Yeah, from what I’ve understood. Many people had some serious shipping issues and support problems when this card launched I got one ahead of time to test out and run. I enjoyed the car, but I know many people had many problems.
