Just received a Heavy Forge Trapper I purchased from SMKW. The fit and finish is great. Very happy with it. The ONLY thing that someone may have a complaint is the bone is fairly light, instead of the brown as generally seen. The spey blade side is a speckled brown, white bone. So, still happy with it because it has character. Many of todays machined knives lack character.

Rough Rider knifes can't be beat for value in a quality knife. Would put them up against Case any day. Thanks SMKW.

I got that knife in the mail yesterday. I really like the finish on the blades & it's carbon steel.

Y'all need to give the R on the bolster a rest. I'm not alone in saying it looks chinsy.

    bummer.
You lost me at "3.5 inches closed."
I like large stockmans, 3 7/8 and larger closed, or 3 3/4 inch closed and larger if a sow belly.
Will there be a large 4 inch plus stockman in this series?

Made in China. I've got several. I like them just as good as Case. Case we'll overpriced.
