ABOUT BROOKLYN NINE-NINE
"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" follows the exploits of hilarious Det. Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and his stoically ever-professional captain, Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher), along with their diverse, lovable colleagues as they police the NYPD's 99th Precinct. In this final season of the series, Jake and the squad must try to balance their personal lives and their professional lives over the course of a very difficult year.
Rounding out the ensemble is Sgt. Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumera), who has a passion for organization and a weakness for dork dancing; Lt. Terry Jeffords (Terry Crews), a mountain of a man whose most powerful muscle is his sweetheart; Jake's best friend and human puppy dog, Det. Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio); and the incredibly secretive, tough-as-nails Rosa Diaz (Stephanie Beatriz). Also part of the Nine-Nine are veteran officers Det. Scully (Joel McKinnon Miller) and Det. Hitchcock (Dirk Blocker), whose only skill as police officers is their ability to make a passable pot of coffee.
Created by Emmy Award-winning writer/producers Dan Goor and Michael Schur, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" won the 2014 Golden Globe Awards for Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical and Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical (Samberg). Emmy winner Braugher earned four Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Capt. Holt.

"Because the cleavage CLOAKS THE CAMERA WITH ITS CURVES" -captain holt
i love the face Amy makes when she hears that
“Sorry i said cleavage”
"That'll be all...spy!"
RIP Andrew Braugher
Gotta love the alliteration
"Now number 5 " Is the official lyrics, right ?
That's right
At this point yes
He’s the one that killed my brother.
It’s tell me why
Definitely
Holt's "Because NO ONE...will ever believe you." was FOUL!
i loved that. he destroyed Jake with a few swipes and taps
The way he puts his hand on Jake’s shoulder
Like that burned hard
What got me was the look on his face while he did it. He was savouring every ounce of Jake's suffering and loved it.
Okay, I have to say this. There are so many times that the squad talked about Holt somewhere that was open and easy to listen in on it. My personal headcanon has always been that, in situations like the marshmallow, Holt was 100% around the corner listening in, and chose to interact in some way that would irritate the most members of the squad in a humorous way.
And he absolutely would
Additional proof: In it, he smiled for more than 1.6 seconds. It was definitely a conman's ruse.
I like to think that he has Cosmic Holt sense.
Omg that's genius. I bet he did 😂
This makes a loooot of sense.
The forehead kiss while leaving the bar is such underrated moment 😅
Who raised you is my favorite quote
Absolute facts right here!
2:23 "She sings in English, that's rock music" every asian parent ever😂
There are some Handel operas that are suuuuper metal then
9:05 Jake's little kiss is so wholesome 🥹
"noo pay your bill"
I love Gina's little smile when she says "who raised you?" They grew up together, she knows exactly who raised him and how and is not surprised by his actions, she finds him endearing like a brother 😂
@@TabbyeLynne Also because, in part, she raised him.
In real life they grew up together so that comment "who raised you" is even more funny
@@TabbyeLynne Like a brother you say? I could ABSOLUTELY see her getting stuck in a washing machine...
...
And jake having no idea what to do about that. At his current age. XD
"Marshed Mellow"
-Captain Raymond Holt
A little part of me think, that he did it for Charles xD he heard how he "acted" like him and choose to help a fellow out
But on the other hand its funnier to imagine the childish happiness Holt would have because of a Marshed Mellow
Or thst just part of him becoming more Human
@@DoktorDaythaI’d say he had a system update to include happiness and excitement
My singular favorite cold open from the show. lol
Feels weird to have the "spread my legs" quote in the thumbnail since it wasn't Rosa who said it
So that everyone would click on the video
it's a shame this channel would stoop to such lame clickbait-y tactics, when the show is funny enough on its own in the proper context
CLICKBAIT
“Yes Kevin they moved it a full half inch”
I'll tell you the whole Story later. Dude, that is the whole Story 😂😂😂😂😂
I’m sad they always leave that out on the compilation.
Jake moving Holt's podium as a prank and seeing Holt actually laugh is legendary! 😂 Holt's deadpan 'How did you guys pull it off?' while holding back laughter had me rolling. These two are comedy gold! 🤣👏
comfort show and characters forever. nine-nine! 🚔❤💕
NINE-NINE!
NINE-NINE!
NINE-NINE!
8:01 I find Amy asleep in the corner a cute detail! Six-drink Amy needed a nap 😅
I never noticed that 😂😂
I was waiting for the three "OH DAMN!"s
Same :(
yeah, now im edged
all of B99 gives us a dose of comfort ❤
Surprisingly, even the super dark humor like much of Pimento's interactions/flashbacks and all of Caleb's scenes.
23:33 “Wanna see the selfies I took?”
“Actually yes”
“I’ll share the album with you”
Hilarious
5:55 that "young al gore" exchange between holt and amy might actually be the cutest thing in the entire show, 2nd only to cheddar.
I still think Jake confusedly kissing Gina’s forehead is my favorite moment on the show😂
this thumbnail is diabolical
Did that actually happen in the show??
@@kavikandoi6350 naaah, they putted a phrase from another scene on the thumbnail
That cast and how they bonded and enjoyed each other in real life --- I will always be so jealous.
3rd time rewatching this show and i still struggle to breathe laughing at the jokes ever single time 😭
Mmmhm, same-sies.
Miss ya Capt.
NINE NINE!!!
NINE-NINE!!!!
NINE NINE 🗣🗣🗣
NINE-NINE
NIIIINE NIIIINE!!!
NINE NIIIINE!
When Peralta kisses Gina on the forehead when she asked if he forgot something was my favorite part.
Best cop show ever
6:38 not this extra’s first day.
That’s such cool detail, that guy’s used to rosa never closing the door thing, i love that
I didn’t remember Rosa dressed as a nun so that’s why I clicked on the video lol
18:54
“Eww its like your dating your teacher”
“Ik, its so hot”😂
When you realized NYPD officers need at least 2 years active military experience to become a cop….. this means the characters are all veterans… I can never see this show the same
Not necessarily 2 years active military experience, you need the equivalent of an associates degree(2 years of college or 2 years military in lieu of college) there are special circumstances where you don’t need either.
R.I.P. Captain Holt 🙏🏻💜🙏🏻
4:01 scully outfit looks like Dwight’s from the office
You mean Skully?
Why! I'm a human, I'm a human male!! 😂
"BECAUSE THE CLEAVAGE CLOAKS THE CAMERA WITH ITS CURVE" motioning at Amy's Bossoms LMAO
Peralta and the squad playing fake Holt or real Holt at the beach house gave me a dose of comfort💜
“I said it… AND I MEANT IT!” underrated Holt greatness
Number 5 sings pretty well ngl
For a murderer!
Thank you for making my day better! This show helps me smile and laugh when it's hard to find happiness ❤😂
10:54: not only do I love this whole scene-- but it reminds me of two things: 1) the way Andre(RIP) acts here, is very similar to how he acted as a sarcastic and sardonic Frank Pembleton in Homicide: Life on the street; 2) it also reminds me not only how tall Andre is, but how even taller Terry Jeffords (Terry Crews) is in Brooklyn 99, and just as tall Tim Bayliss(Kyle Sector)and Meldrick Lewis (Clark Johnson) are, who also played in Homicide, along side Andre
Holt eating a marshmallow and giggling is so simply delightful.🤣💜💜💜
Also, the Backstreet Boys cold opening is peak comedy and will never not make me laugh.😂😂😂
The implication that all men know the song by heart (I do 😅)
I love the transition from I’m over amy to we are dating
16:32 the fact that Hitchcock is helping them move the shoes is hilarious, since he always takes scully’s side
you know the situation is out of hand when gina looks away from her phone (Rosa's wearing PINK!!!)
"Sorry i said Cleavage"
"Mhmm"
8:12 Holt went to the Captain Sisko school of SUDDEN AND DEAFENING ENUNCIATION
Port is definitely reasonable as Jake’s wine of choice since it just tastes like juice
@22:41, "why I'm a human, human male"!!!....RIP Captain Raymond Holt
"She sings in english, that's rock music!"
Why are Hitchcock and Skully of the 70's so much older and fatter than Hitchcock and Skully of the 80's?
Ive understood it as what the other detectives imagined them as, vs what Hitchcock and Scully see themselves as.
@@bplionel2 which one?
@@BeckTech-u4e
TLDR: We as the viewers wouldn’t recognize them and the 99 didn’t know what they looked like OR just simple continuity error
I think one, that the storyline of Hitchcock and Scully being attractive wasn’t occurring yet creating three reasons possible reasons: The first one being the crew of the 99 at this point wouldn’t have known and therefore would just imagine Hitchcock and Scully as they know him. The second is combined with the first, us as the viewers at this point only know Hitchcock and Scully as they look now, to throw in two attractive young men wouldn’t make sense to us as the viewers and would leave us questioning why and while this is shown later realistically the storyline they went with made the most sense during it’s respective season, and it didn’t leave us to build up an expectation plus while serving as a shocking reveal. The last reason and most likely if we decided the first two options still don’t make sense: continuity error. The creators probably didn’t have the original episode idea in mind when creating this episode and probably just forgot this point. I personally just like to think of it as the first two imo
2:40 I love this scene, my wife always asks why I'm laughing 😂
@NBCBrooklyn99 you misspelled the episode name at 13:48 - It's supposed to say "USPIS", now it says "UPSIS"
"interesting, you know what else interesting?? GRENADES 😡😡
13:52 you guys misspelled USPIS with UPSIS
A forgot about nun Rosa
First btw love this and just started watching ❤
Discovery consists of seeing what everybody has seen and thinking what nobody else has thought.
Amy should really button up her shirt to show everyone she’s not wearing a camera
There is something about Amy.❤
5, 3, 1? LOL that face expression :D 18:23. Melissa Fumero is so incredibly hot.
I’m the 99th like!
@ 13:43
“That will be all...spy!!”
🤣🤣🤣
The way Captain Holt said those dialogues, its always makes me laugh.🤣🤣
Your timing couldn't be better I am sick and it really helped watching this.
Raymond Holt is a gem of a character. R.I.P Andre Braugher
'gasp' that's what globes are for
MR GRAAAAAPEEEEES!
Amy's laugh is so cute. 😁😁
I want a new Season !!!
I know, people go on about the later seasons being less enjoyable than the earlier ones but in fairness, they didn’t have the same episode allotment to get the same range we were used to from the 23 episode seasons
how is no one talking about Holt's 393 unread emails 10:58
YOU CUT OUT THE 3 OH DAMNS WHYYYYYYY
Trusting our intuition often saves us from disaster.
The head cam at 16:40 makes me giggle every time
I feel like Holt was listening to them and decided to come in after Jake! 😂
7:46 One of my favourite scenes in the whole show
“To Rhianna, because I love Rhianna.” Just f*ckin killed me. One of those bits that didn’t hit on first watch, but that you pick up on rewatch 👍🏻 👍🏻
Not either way! Only wings!
9:08 that's always make me happy.
Their relationship is dope
"Twitter think you're a bot" burst of laught, ain't see that comin 😂
Are there any shows like this? It was so good ❤
Have you seen Superstore? To me, it's the same level of comfort.
@@Charientist I'll check it out, thnks
Can't believe they cut out the 3 "oh damn"s :(
The perp line-up singing “I Want It That Way” 😂😂😂
How can you cut the : 3 oh damns part😢😢
Still can't believe this legend is gone
I’m sad they didn’t include the 3 oh damns.
i paused it and did them myself
Mee-p morp
8:42 I was very much not ready for that
G R E N A D E S !
Haha I also forgot about Mr Grapes.
The best part about "Mr Grapes" is that he's literally wearing a tie with purple, and purple is one of the most common colours they wear.
🎉
BOVINE BROTHEL lmao.
4 shots, Amy totally knew what she was doing.
"I'm taking an abnormal psych class and everyone in it is obsessed with me" is a criminally underrated line.
:D
I love when Jake kisses Gina's forehead at the bar. That'll never not be funny. 🤣
How DARE the editor cut the three OH DAMN's from the dentists scene! Shame on you!
23:47- 23:51 He wasn't a monster...
Still gets me to explode with laughter HAHAHAHA
Now number 5 , I forgot about that part😂😂😂😂
2:34 I always thought this show too ridiculous, but I must say, this part got me good :P
This kinda looks like a mental institution if you ask me. Rosa being the only sane one.
I don’t know how many times I’ve seen the Backstreet Boys scene, but today was the first time I registered that Jake was wearing plaid.
Would rather that you give a poor man back me my food money.
Or you can stop that crime family from stealing his identity and discount
Because no one will ever believe you, is my favorite part by far.
Homicide and Brooklyn 99. Two AMAZING performances. RIP Andre Braugher
I said it AND I MEANT IT
you removed the oh damnsss reallyyyyyyy!!! Thats blasphemous
