Oh, me and little debbie, back in 2012, when I had to take painful, blood thinner shot called “lovenox,” or as I called it, the liquid devil, I would always want a treat of some kind after each shot, and usually the treat came in the form of something that goes in my mouth, either liquid or solid. Anyway, so Mom used to get me the little debbie devil squares, which were good, but I also liked the little debbie Christmas trees. I’m going to enjoy my chex mix today after my shots and for the last few days, I’ve been slow-infusing some vanilla black tea. “slow infusing” means that instead of steaping it in hot water, I’ve been letting it sit in cold water for four days and instead of sweetening it with sugar, I used honey. This works for me because honey is the color of whiskey and also, bees’ combs are hexagonal, and “hex” is one of my favorite words.
