- Tamidol is a wonderful mother. Her love shows in everyday moments. The baby's new day starts with the first sip of mother's milk.
In GaiaZOO, a baby gorilla was born on April 9th. This marks the first birth of a gorilla in nearly ten years at the Kerkrade NL, and it's an endangered western lowland gorilla.
The father of this baby gorilla, Lomako, arrived in Kerkrade in the spring of 2022. He took over the leadership role after the passing of Makula, who died in June 2021. This is Lomako's first offspring. As for the mother, Tamidol, this is her second baby.
The baby is a boy👦, his name is Makongo

Thank you my friend 😘😘 Tamidol is a wonderful mother👍. She carefully nurtures her baby, and even though she hasn't eaten herself, she feeds the baby first. Only after the baby finishes its first morning feed of milk does she go outside to find something to eat.😘🫶🦍♥️
She's such a good momma ❤. I love watching her take care of the little one! Nala i hope one day will have her own family. I think she will make a great mom one day.... she's learning from one of the best momma gorilla out there..

Nala is 9 years old this year. The members of Lomako's troop are all very nice😀 and get along well with each other. The more lively one is another girl gorilla named Zola, who is 10 years old. Both Zola and Nala are offspring of the late silverback Makula(RIP).🫶♥️🦍🥰
Nala is big for 9 years old❤❤❤God bless her and I wish the zoo would get her a Silverback and start her own family❤❤❤❤
@AlinaWhitfield0510 I think that in the future, Nala will also be Lomako's mate, just like in the Japanese Shabani family, where Nene is Ai's mother and they are both Shabani's mates.

@@Becky-o5h Tamidol passed away on August 12. Baby Makongo is now being cared for by the zookeepers, who are preparing to select a gorilla from the troop to serve as a surrogate mother for him.
