I love tgin! I used to work for them and I met Monique and her husband back in the day when we all used to do the hair shows together. Let me tell you this, Monique might be a mess but, most of the women behind these brands are a mess. Not just her. It’s a money grab for many of them. A few of the owners were really cool like Alikay, Girl and Hair, Obia Naturals and of course the former founder of tgin (rip). But many were not. And also, many of the founders of these brands didn’t like each other behind the scenes. Yet, they’d all hop up on these “women empowerment panels” and play nice nasty with each other. Baby the stories I have! 😂 That’s why I don’t go to any of those “wellness” retreats them folks be hosting. All smoke, mirrors and lies. Y’all stay safe and woke out there 👀☕️

I then had a scroll through her account to see if what I noticed was consistent. I've got nothing against most influencers, but I could tell she wants to be seen as "that girl" and it turned me off.

Idk why but honey never worked well in my hair. I’ve tried cream of nature honey line that never worked I even tried Camille rose honey line that didn’t work. I wanted to try mielles but now. I just don’t think honey is good for 4chair

I’m not gonna lie I used that brand when it first dropped it was the babassu line the deep conditioner was amazing my hair was soft and moisturized . Fast forward to now and that deep conditioner dried my hair out when I used it 2 weeks ago. My hair felt like Brillo. I feel like the formula changed . I really miss the old brands like bask beauty, Darcy’s botanicals,hairveda, obia naturals, oyin handmade , curl junkie etc.
I was thinking about you, not because of mess, but I respect what you did. It might seem small, but I stood firm on never buying products from this line after seeing what happened to you.

I use Carol's Daughter Goddess strength system. I went through so much wasted money with all these natural products and I can truly say Mielle.isnt a great product for me.

Idk why but honey never worked well in my hair. I’ve tried cream of nature honey line that never worked I even tried Camille rose honey line that didn’t work. I wanted to try mielles but now. I just don’t think honey is good for 4chair

I'm so thankful for you! Your review & the ensuing drama were the reasons I never purchased any Mielle products & thank goodness I didn't. Her products are trash. Sadly the effects are just now starting to show because hair weathering takes years. I really hope anyone affected by these products can get their hair to bounce back. Ladies plz use salon quality & science-backed products. She clearly only got into the industry to make a buck; she never cared about the health or science of hair❗️

I’m not gonna lie I used that brand when it first dropped it was the babassu line the deep conditioner was amazing my hair was soft and moisturized . Fast forward to now and that deep conditioner dried my hair out when I used it 2 weeks ago. My hair felt like Brillo. I feel like the formula changed . I really miss the old brands like bask beauty, Darcy’s botanicals,hairveda, obia naturals, oyin handmade , curl junkie etc.
I was thinking about you, not because of mess, but I respect what you did. It might seem small, but I stood firm on never buying products from this line after seeing what happened to you.
Now that was a word. I wish I could be a fly on the wall as the brand owners all watch this video.

I've been hearing people referringto this situation when they talk about the current situation of that company, but i live under a rock so I'm always behind on things 😢😢. It sounds horrible what you went through, I'm so sorry, sis ❤. I only ever bought the rosemary scalp oil from them (cause everyone was swearing by it on SM) but it made my scalp itch so much that I thought I was having an allergic reaction and i decided to stop using it, I wanted something to help me with itching and dryness but it was making things worse

I thought it was just me. I used it for a hot oil treatment for my locs and my scalp were sooo dry. I had to wash again after a few days. Threw it away.
I have never seen locks that weren't dry. It's old dead shed hair locked together. I've never seen moist locks

I know one thing- you spoke your truth 💯 ❤ and coincidentally FYI, I ran across a bottle of Mielle shampoo in my storage unit 2 days ago and tossed it. It never worked for me. I use Carol's Daughter Goddess strength system. I went through so much wasted money with all these natural products and I can truly say Mielle.isnt a great product for me.

But way before I even started hearing about this I told myself that I wasn’t going to be using anymore of her products because of my personal beliefs.
