Awesome demo 😎🤘🏻🎸 I have the same pedal on my main pedalboard and it sounds phenomenal. I also like the idea of creating your own drive with this pedal
What are your thoughts on this pedal? I’ve got a Sansamp that’ll be in charge of the more modern “Darkglass” style tones, but I’m looking for something to fill the rest of the OD->fuzz void. I like the Ashdown Triple shot and the JHS rat too, but I’m not totally sold on anything in particular yet. Do you have a favorite drive pedal you’d recommend I check out?
The Aftershock is great, it can be pretty much everything you want it to be if you are willing to dive deep in the editor. I suggest you watch my Huge Drive Shootout: th-cam.com/video/sLb7avy8Eko/w-d-xo.htmlsi=xiMV6LHi0VYp9t0j
I think this might be the most convincing demo I've seen of this pedal. I don't really like the complexity that digital effects tend to have, but this really laid it out in a way that makes sense. Could you do the Kingmaker fuzz too? Or, now that I think about it, are the fuzz effects available on the Aftershock anyway because of the editor?
So, please let me know if I get this right; I could run both outputs into my preamp's (ebs microbass 2) two channels and be able to a/b drives when I switch channels? Is it possible to let the eq/filter section affect your clean sound when the pedal's not engaged? Bonus always on hi/pass filter!
That's one way to do it. I think you can set it up so a long stomp switches between two presets using one output, or you could use an external tap tempo type switch to toggle. I don't know about the EQ while in bypass thing.
I've been looking in to this pedal and asked my local guitar shop for a price - then you posted this. Thanks.

GREAT JOB! No endless bullsh***ing...right to the point in hearing all these pedals, which is what we all want! SUBBED!
I use a couple of Source Audio pedals already and make use of the Neuro Editor, so it's a crime that I don't have this one yet.
real bass guitar sound

Also, genuinely appreciate the vids man. They’re really great.

@ dig it, thanks!
I have this pedal but never use the neuro on it ... option paralysis :). This, the spectrum, and the C4.

I don't think there is a lot of Fuzz in the drive presets 🤔 but I can be wrong
Kingmaker and Aftershock are essentially the same pedals. Tones are interchangeable…
Big muff or this?

@@sparella thanks! This alone, to me, justifies getting one😋
@@jelmerwouda8635 You're twisting my arm over here to get one too! 🤣
@@sparella haha, sorry?
