- Hey guys,
first of all, I would like to thank every single one of you for subscribing to my channel. It has been ages since I've posted something and I am truly grateful you still like my videos.
I have a little Christmas surprise for you all. I improved my skills of editing videos (or at least I hope so) and made another one from TW.
This one is for Theo Raeken. Theo became one of my favorite characters (for many reasons). I really love his character development. He went through a lot and he deserves some happiness now.
I hope you will enjoy it. I'll be grateful for any likes or comments :)

i like that you framed this as theo reflecting on his past while he’s homeless and sleeping in his car, getting tossed around like a hot potato between deputies and sheriffs. it’s such a good touch

He was treated so unfairly and I love him more than any other character on teen wolf. Before I watched the show I considered stiles my comfort character of the show but then I watched it and he was my comfort and he saved me in my darkest times more than anyone fictional or real ever did
This is honestly beautiful!! My favorite part is at 4:11 - 4:18, the way the Surgeon says “Failure... Theo Raeken.” is just terrifying and the way Theo stutters out “I'm not a failure.” is absolutely heartbreaking.
Honestly, I think you captured Theo’s story and redemption arc perfectly!! I really hope you continue making videos like this, because they’re stunning!!

My little take on Theo;
Theo is GREATLY misunderstood. I believe Theo was just scared, so scared that he made a mask and just forgot how it feels not to wear it. (As far as I'm aware)We don't really know how exactly Theo met the dread doctors, we don’t know if the doctors scared him into K.O.ing his sister or he was just a hint of evil when they found him.
I believe, the dread doctors scared Theo into hurting his sister and into joining them. I think as Theo grew, he was scared(we saw how Theo reacted when he yelled at them and they turned towards him) so he listened and behaved. I think the whole power hunger thing is misunderstood as well, I mean Theo grew up with the dread doctors, he doesn't(probably) even known true friendship because the people he had to get close to were nothing more than a mission for him so to see Scott and his pack as close as they were. He wanted that but didn't know how he can achieve it, so he went to the next best thing, Power.
I think after he came back from his time with his sister, his mask was destroyed because as we saw, he just accepted everything that was there in that hell. He accepted that it was him who killed his sister. He just give up because there was no escape. When he came back, he had many opportunities to leave but he didn't, why? Because Liam(whom Theo tricked into almost killing Scott) brought him back and had just enough trust in Theo(that he'd help with the ghost riders) that it confused Theo just enough for him to want to stay and figure out if that trust is truly worth his time. I think that's why he was a bit surprised when Liam broke Kira’s sword(I don't remember if he was-).
Theo stayed not because he had to but because he wanted to. He stayed not for Scott, or Stiles, or Malia, he didn’t stay for these who didn't believe in him. He stayed because of Liam. Liam believes in him. Liam believes Theo can be good and Theo knows that so he stayed and start saving Liam’s ass. I truly do think Liam was Theo’s anchor as Theo is to Liam, for Theo it might not be like a normal anchor but still an anchor in general.
I truly believe that Theo did what he had to because he was scared. He was scared of the dread doctors, death, and being a failure. I believe Liam truly did have something to do with the new(after hell) Theo and I truly think that though neither of them will admit it, they truly were each others anchors.

It makes perfect sense, thank you for writing this. I agree with you, Theo is misunderstood.
A lot of people think he is just pure evil, but they don't realize what he went through. In my opinion, he was just a little boy, forced to do things he didn't understand. And as soon as he was given a second chance, he tried to make things right.
I wanted to show this point of view to people so they might understand him better.

Yeah. I do believe he went through all of this, kept trying to save Liam isn’t for befriend with Scott or join Scott’s pack (as Liam thought), he did because he genuinely cared about Liam. Spending many years working for Dread Doctors, he wasn’t taught how to love and care about friends, just focused on his target and tried to be the strongest one. But Liam helps him realize that friendship is very important and friends will risk their life for their love one
He was not evil
He was just a broken hero

Well, respectfully.... Not really.... he almost killed Stiles dad, caused Liam and Scott's friendship to almost break because he influenced Liam to try to kill him, said a ton of really terrible things, helped to turn innocent people into monsters so he could be an alpha, and lied to Scott and Stiles and all of them.
Stiles was so mean to him just think about it he last his entire childhood at 9.
But honestly Stiles was the only one not fooled by Theo's mask in Season 5. Stiles was truly the smartest in the pack

He had a choice. He knew what he was doing. He made his choices. It wasn't until he spent a year in hell living that time going through what his sister had felt did he realize the mistakes he made and what he had lost. When he came back he realized he had a lot to atone for and Liam helped him with being able to do that.
