      How do you reach someone who admits that they're overly proud and dont communicate but won't let anyone in to help them and continually push away and if they could simply learn and grow and forgive the very problem they created would be solved and everything would be fine. But their attitude is "Ok i can't communicate my feelings,.. now leave me alone" How do you reach someone like this?

      A proud person will never accept Jesus’ death on the cross for forgiveness of his/her sins. They think they are fine without God and don’t want God telling them what to do. There is no middle ground; If you haven’t sided with God then you have sided with the devil. If God is not your Father, then the devil is. The devil treats his children like rubbish but God spoils you with unconditional love. Therefore forsake your sins of lying, stealing, sexual immorality, lusting, disrespecting parents etc Believe in Jesus today.

    Hi Anton. Not sure if you’ll see this comment. I’m a 30 year old woman. Yet, I feel I am stuck in the mindset and body of my younger self. I was hit with many emotions from your points in this video, and I was overcome with the realization of my ways because of this. I always had a reason for something, I never wanted to accept help, and I never listen because I think I know better. This has lead to my husband always being behind me, holding my hand and telling me what to do. I don’t want that anymore. Yet, I’m prideful and think I can do things without help. But I can’t. And this video has helped me realized my ways. I thank you.

      Hi! It takes humility to see and admit your shortcomings, just like what you did here. That just means that there will be growth in that area of your life soon. Because where there is pride there is no growth and maturity but with humility comes growth and change. May God give you the strength and wisdom to keep moving forward and making the right changers in your life. 🙂

      Let’s think: putting aside all our religious beliefs, we believe that God is someone who is absolute eternal and absolutely different from us-His creation. Thinking in that way, how can he have a son? He would be different from his creation. He can’t have a son like a normal being has. For example:- we start up a company where we are doing job of operating robots for specific task. Now that robot will be not be same like us bcz we made it and operated it. We can’t made something like what we are. That robot will have artificial intelligence but less than us, it will do work but not much than us, it may have instilled empathy but can’t be more like us in different circumstances. In the same way, God is Greatest and He is different. He is alone. He can’t have life, he can’t have belongings, he can’t beget nor begotten, he can’t be like us. He will be completely different from us which we can’t think of us just like an operated-robot can’t think of us. This is what I think. Let’s think putting aside what our ancestors follow. Let’s think about what we can follow based upon our things, our beliefs based upon we feel right. Let’s think.

    I have lived for 35 years not knowing I have a pride issue, I have about 2 or 3 out of the 5 things you mentioned.
    I never realised or understood what pride was.
    Some of the things you said actually scared me because it was exactly how my mentality works and I thought nobody could understand me.
    I struggle with forgiving people who have hurt me, I can hold into a grudge. I am very bitter from the mistreatment I suffered. My mind holds onto and feeds off the people who have wronged me.
    I genuinely want to change and I feel it’s impossible to change because these are so entrenched in my personality but I want to change.

      There is none good but God. We have sinned numerous times, but God is rich in mercy not willing that any perish that he sent his Son to die on the cross. God has blessed us with Great food to eat (kings in the past don’t eat like we do today), shelter, freedoms, fun, medicine, pets to enjoy their company, friends and many more things to enjoy. Yet we don’t give him thanks, Blaspheme his HOLY name, lie, steal, sin sexually etc God wants to give the free gift of eternal life (999999999999999999999999… years but we need to humble ourselves, turn from our wicked ways and Believe in Jesus (God isn’t asking for much from you but is offering so much how loving is that).

    I struggle with this in more ways than I realize, such as being way too self-focused, not listening, being defensive and finding faults. I think another big thing that feeds pride is comparison. The antidote to pride is acknowledging and owning your mistakes and your failures, and knowing that anything and everything good we have truly is an undeserved gift from Him. Praying for Jesus, the King of humility, to cleanse me from this sin.

    I think I have a weird case of pride... Like, I don't do any of that to others, but I do like all of that to myself. I get super anxious about making mistakes, I am hyper sensitive when I actually make mistakes, and I have a very hard time forgiving myself when I do make them... Then I build up so much stress I have a blowout and usually give into some other sin.
    A while ago my priest said in his homily about the sermon on the mount, and he pointed out that for you to love your neighbor as yourself, by logical necessity you must first love yourself; it's a command to just people as God loves us, and you are a person too. I am a person too, and I need to treat myself like one.

    I'm really impressed with the quality and depth of this video. I know it would double the length of your video to add all the scripture to go along with it but you may be able to just flash scripture references to everything that you're saying somewhere on the video. Just about everything that you're saying can be pulled right out of scripture. It's kind of funny to say but I feel like adding in the scriptures is a good example of humility and saying this is not my idea or words but this is what God has laid out for us.

    • @AntonReyes

      A proud person will never accept Jesus’ death on the cross for forgiveness of his/her sins. They think they are fine without God and don’t want God telling them what to do. There is no middle ground; If you haven’t sided with God then you have sided with the devil. If God is not your Father, then the devil is. The devil treats his children like rubbish but God spoils you with unconditional love. Therefore forsake your sins of lying, stealing, sexual immorality, lusting, disrespecting parents etc Believe in Jesus today.
      Proverbs 16:5 Everyone proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD;

    Pride is the literal perfect sin and the root of all problems. My life has nearly been ruined and if it haven't been the glory of God who was abundant in mercy who kept trying to show it to me, I wouldn't be in great shape as I am now. All Glory belongs to God and do it all for the Lord above. Halullujah.
