In the comics, he stood out for exceptional cruelty, was a master of torture, and in the film they made him a clown who decided to kidnap children. The film was meant to be dark and depressing, not an entertainment attraction. Thor has turned into a clown and a hysteric who talks to his weapon, and this weapon makes him jealous. I think this was the coolest fight in the movie. The black and white of the shadow realm really stood out, with the weapons energy making color for a few moments.
He wasn't, he just tried to delay them long enough to make them want to leave. He sped it up by injuring Valkyrie. He's almost as strong as Thor, immensely durable and faster than Thor. Even if he couldn't kill Thor himself, he didn't need to, he needed to make sure stormbreaker wasn't damaged to make his wish. Killing Thor may have destroyed stormbreaker for all he knows.
Dude Gorr would annihilate all of them, he has the Necrosword here, he went throughout the galaxy killed so many gods. Not to mention beating Thor like 3 times. He even tortured a God of Torture, and made him break.

Age of Ultron set up Infinity War and Endgame perfectly. Watch it again. Whedon's humor was cringe but other than that Age of Ultron was great and the action was very nicely paced and Whedon fought to keep that scene with Bruce and Natasha at Hawkeye's house and that scene greatly helped to humanize Natasha and it added to the greatness of her sacrifice in Endgame. The Marvel higher ups had wanted that scene deleted.

This scene, its atmosphere, art style, mood, meaning.. this is what Thor 4 could have been in its entirety if only Taika had some self-reflection concerning his jokes. Christian Bale is the only actor in this film who played his role perfectly. Inspiration is overwhelming. It's always nice to watch him. The perfect casting for Gorr. Everything else was made far too much of a laugh. Compared to Thor 3, this film was a rather bad Marvel film.
If you take out all of the cringe humor and Korg's lewd song, this movie was GREAT. It featured a gung ho Thor and displayed his tremendous strength. Thor ended up saving Jane, the children, Sif, Korg, the people on that planet at the beginning, New Asgard, and Love. Jane as Mighty Thor was NOT woke and she was portrayed as someone insecure but determined. The goats pulling the boat on the rainbow bridge was a great addition to the movie that almost wasn't.

Christian Bale is the only actor in this film who played his role perfectly. Inspiration is overwhelming. It's always nice to watch him. The perfect casting for Gorr. Everything else was made far too much of a laugh. Compared to Thor 3, this film was a rather bad Marvel film.

If you take out all of the cringe humor and Korg's lewd song, this movie was GREAT. It featured a gung ho Thor and displayed his tremendous strength. Thor ended up saving Jane, the children, Sif, Korg, the people on that planet at the beginning, New Asgard, and Love. Jane as Mighty Thor was NOT woke and she was portrayed as someone insecure but determined.
The goats pulling the boat on the rainbow bridge was a great addition to the movie that almost wasn't.

Stormbreaker is the key because it has the power of summoning Bifrost. The real key is Bifrost not Stormbreaker. And the mold of the Stormbreaker had not been made just before it was forged. When Thor arrived at Nidavellir, the mold of the weapon was already there. So the mold was made maybe 1,000, maybe 5,000 years ago, we don't know that. And the children didn't fight with Gorr, they did fight with his shadow monsters.
