    I finished this fabulous cardigan yesterday. I’m a complete newby to crochet and learnt everything from your tutorial. I’m so proud of myself for completing it, I love it….wish I could send you a photo of it. Thanks so much for your very detailed instructions. Now looking for my next project.😊

      Wonderful Sarah! Are you not in our Facebook group? It’s a great community and everyone posts their pictures in there. Or perhaps you are on Instagram? I hope this is the start of many more wearables for yourself, do check out my recent summer cardigan here th-cam.com/video/nZ3JvoG4uP0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=2SE9NhYdvShO2xyx Anja x

    This is a beautiful cardigan. I know I will be making this after the CAL. I was surprised that we got this video a day early but I'm not complaining. Thanks again.

    As a beginner I watched both videos to make sure I understand the instruction..well done! My sister said it’s exactly what she wanted….it’s stunning. I will be making one of these, thanks to you and Bridget🤗
    Edited: I remember seeing the thumbprint picture of video one where you showed the arms wide open… I showed it to my sister..thanks

    Just a wonderful cardigan! Thank you Bridget and Anja! I have completed my cardigan with a little weaving in ends and will attempt to post on Facebook soon. I used leftover yarn from the Harlequin blanket and used 3 different types of squares, 72 squares, and it's bursting with color. I just love it! Again, I thank you.

    I upsized my cardigan by adding an extra round in denim to each square to make an XL UK 20/22. I have posted a picture on the FB page. Lovely and warm .

    Hi Anja- you were wondering how many types of squares I used during the live: 37 flower, 17 basic granny and 18 star grannies (from a granny square book). I started making squares once you debuted this cardigan, again using only leftovers from the Harlequin CAL that's why squares are different colors.. Again, thank you Bridget and Anja! Really love this cardigan and the brilliant 'Bridget' sleeves!

    Your crocheted granny squares Cardigan Video is very nice to know how to sew up the granny squares that way I only wanted to know is it safe to use the the back and front stitches to sew up the granny squares Cardigan together

    • @OpheliaTalks
      @OpheliaTalks  7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      If you only pick up one thread from the front and back then these might stretch creating holes. You could try it but I would suggest picking up the two threads of each v, Anja x

    I’ve been looking for a project like this! It’s beautiful! Can you tell me, why you joined the squares going backwards, please? I’ve never seen joining done this way, and I’m afraid, my hands won’t cooperate that way, lol.Thank you!

    • @OpheliaTalks
      @OpheliaTalks  ปีที่แล้ว

      The stitch I used is called Crab stitch and that's the way it is constructed, backwards, thank you for watching Alex, Anja x
