Whether you think he’s the greatest or not, the thing that’s always set Lebron apart from MJ and Kobe is that he’s always been the guy. He didn’t get cut from the varsity, he didn’t barely play as a rookie. He’s been the best player and the go-to player from the beginning of his organized basketball career. Even in year 20 when he wanted to pass the torch to AD, he still has to be the guy.
Jordan is the prototype. No Jordan, no LeBron or Kobe.
@@ianwilson4483 no Dr. J no Jordan. It’s always someone before and someone after. Jordan isn’t the pinnacle of basketball to me. Neither is Kobe or Lebron. They’re all part of the evolution of the game.
This is bars
Agree with this 100% and I’d take it a step further to his life off the court. The man has had the spotlight on him since he was 18 years old and he has NEVER slipped up. No scandals or legal issues. Amazing father and husband. He’s been a role model to me personally and millions of other for most of my life and he’s only a few years older than me. I will never understand the hate for this man. He’s the pinnacle of athleticism, what it means to be an athlete, and is a genuinely good person.
Bruh what are u talking about. Yes Lebron has had the spotlight on him his entire career, but Jordan was dropping 40 in high school, and was only cut once in his sophmore year before everyone realized how good he was. He was NCAA player of the year and won the tournament in his three years in college. MJ had arguable the greatest rookie season in NBA history averaging 28 points on 38 minutes per game. So respect to LeBron but lets not act like Jordan was not doing everything Bron did but better. He was also easily the best player on a bulls team that was taking the year prior and brought them to the playoffs without any roster changes.
lol coach cursing at his players like they had a chance to to stop Lebron.
LOL
He's just shooting fadeaways lol 🤣
@@kellyaustin7487 coach didn’t realize theres nothing you can do about that lol. If he didn’t shoot faded he woulda Merced you going to the basket lol
The coach was right at the same time though nobody wanted the smoke. Not saying they would’ve stopped him because they wouldn’t have. But at the same time you have a future nba player as well. And he totally Shied away from the challenge. It might’ve sounded like he was talking to the entire team but he was actually challenging Ariza to match his intensity. That’s literally what he was doing
He said LBJ ain't going to the last playing to do this I haven't saw a guy yet that came in the league even close to LBJ yet have you

I’m from LA and the best part was the arrogance of the Westchester parents and the media. Before the game the parents were making comments like “those boys from the Midwest only play against big slow guys or small guys. We have big fast guys and they can’t play with us” and the newscasters thought LA was going to be showing out. Then LeBron goes out and scores as many points as the whole Westchester team. 😂
We produce the best hoppers over here
“There’s no way this kid is EVER gonna live up to the hype!” 😂😂😂
😂😂😂 this is hilarious. Amd THATS what makes him great and in the MJ conversation. I'm not trying to argue that so relax readers, but what I am saying he lived up to ALL the hype and exceeded all expectation AND he's still playing. I can also live without the flopping, but that's just the league today🤷🏽♂️ but he is still one of the greatest to ever play. I'm tired of the hate when its obvious that he is a great player. Miss me with the MJ comparison. THEY'RE BOTH GREAT!!! THATS IT THAT'S ALL

It is so crazy seeing where LBJ came from. I remember this time vividly. The way he played the game you knew he was special but know one could imagine his ceiling. Bron just dont get enough credit for the commitment to his craft.

It’s actually crazy to think but Lebron probably would’ve averaged 13-5-4 in 32 minutes as a 14/15 year old in the NBA. 🤣
Not too crazy because Ron Artest said that LeBron was giving NBA players work in the Summer League as a 16 year old so that's not far fetched. Probably could have played at 16?

Even after seeing him play against Oakhill in Cleveland, (my hometown) I still kinda felt he wouldn't be able to do it against KG, Kobe, Shaq, etc etc etc..
I hadn't saw him play until that Oakhill game, but everyone was comparing him to NBA basketball players.
At that game though you would've thought it was all-star weekend, cause there were so many NBA guys there.

It's the way his mom came down and he put his arm back and hugged her on the bench. He was always saying in high school he just wanted to take care of his mom. Now she lives a life most dream of and follows her grandchildren around to their games👏👏👏
Everyone wanted to be “like Mike” but I would rather be like Lebron. Along with having a great basketball career and becoming all-time scorer, he has always been a role model, family man, highly intelligent, and even with easier access to athletes lives through social media he has never had any off the court legal issues or scandals to deal with. When the definition of the perfect athlete is talked about, Lebron is #1 on the list.
Lebron is not highly intelligent if you actually listen to him. He thinks he is and that’s why is comments on so many issues he doesn’t really need to. Someone like MJ knows he shouldn’t be talking about politics so he keeps quiet. He to has stayed out of trouble. I’d rather be MJ and look up to MJ with how he goes about life. People don’t even know when he donates money.. Lebron gotta announce that sht on his Twitter.
@@Logholdersso much wrong with this shit. Any american has the eight to give their opinion on whatever they want. Also him announcing his charity events and such brings more attention and thus more money to these things. He kinda has to post about a charity for other people to donate aswell

😂
Coach: "you want to beat LeBron you have to play like him"
The team: *Trying figure out how to all score 52 pts*
This was the game before which Trevor Ariza's uncle had said he didn't understand all the attention Lebron was getting because his nephew Trevor Ariza was better than Lebron!! Then Ariza said he would "lock down" Lebron in this game. So Lebron scored 52 points making it look so easy and Ariza had 12 points!! What a humiliation. Lebron was never that type of player to take out a grudge on somebody on the court like MJ. He just went out and played to win. But he sure showed everyone in this game that he was the best prospect and not Ariza.
This game was personal for Lebron.Trevor Aruza went public bashing him and saying Aruza was bettwr than him...This was Lebron reveange game
“He’s just the guy right now..” - Hahahaha!
LBJ had everything the nba scouts look for. Ability to create space for himself without screens, can run any offense and play any role 1-5. Asset on defense. Physicality. Efficient scoring. 3 ball from anywhere. showmanship. Complete package.

That's what I was thinking.
I watched him in a hs game against Sebastian Telfair, and he was easily the best and most complete player I have seen while in hs. At the time, he was only a junior. Probably the only junior who was NBA ready and could have gone straight to the league a year early. In this game against Trevor Ariza, he was like a man among boys. It literally looked like a professional playing against amateurs. Somewhat like when the Dream Team dominated in the 1992 Olympics.
