Yes, Translink (public transport in Gold Coast) is really convenient! We bought Go cards (similar to Myki in Melb) and it cost around $3/trip - but it depends on how many zones you travel :-) Journey planner is useful for determining how long it takes per trip

Yes, hotel was Mantra Legends Surfers Paradise and visited in June!
