Hello and Welcome back to #escapewithvj
We made it to Singapore and in this vlog we have covered some of the most famous places of Singapore starting with Changi Airport, which is the world's bestest Airport and has world's highest indoor waterfall - The Jewel, which is absolutely gorgeous. Apart from the Jewel, this airport has many attractions like butterfly garden, cactus garden, cinema hall, swimming pool, food court and lots more.
After checking into our hotel - IBIS Budget Crystal, we went to explore Gardens by the Bay which has gigantic man-made trees, Cloud Forest (with world's tallest indoor waterfall), Flower Dome and many more things. You can book your tickets to the Gardens online or walk in and buy from their as well.
- Make sure to visit Gardens by the Bay around 4 - 4:30 PM so that you can stay for the Light and Sound show in the evening.
- DO NOT MISS visiting Cloud Forest. It's beautiful.
- Light and Sound show will literally blow your minds. Timings are 7:30 PM and 8:30 PM.
- Tickets for the OCBC Skyway, Cloud Forest and Flower Dome is $36 per person.
We also checked out the hip street called Haji Lane which has beautiful boutiques and cafes and the famous Sultan Mosque. Keep an eye for our next vlogs. Byeeeee :)

Hey if ywe want to roam around the jewel after getting off the airport and after clearing immigration is there any place to deposit the huge luggage bags ? Because we can't keep carrying around the suitcases to roam around

Yes you can use to Luggage store room after you clear the immigration and enter the jewel area.. Its on 2nd or 3rd floor not remember exactly, but it was quite expensive...

Yes you can explore the jewel before boarding your flight, you need to get through security check n all then just before the gates there is a passage on the right which will lead you to the jewel..
How is the weather in Singapore Is it rainy,should we book the Quay hotel which is I think 13 min walk from metro and One way farrer is 3 min walk from metro,can u suggest as specific resturant for food,place and what to do,how is the food,how far is ur hotel from metro.

The weather will be pleasant but humid and you can expect some rain as well these days but that won't be a big issue bcz rain generally happen for small duration ... For hotel you can choose any which is close to metro station and suits you will be a good option...There are many Indian restaurants in china town and downtown area... We tried Tandoori culture in china town and Red chilies at Singapore flyer...

Yes you need to carry your fully vaccination certificate ...
They will only going to check your full vaccination certificate which should have your passport number also mention on it.
Also they will check SG Arrival card which you need to apply 3 days prior to your landing in Singapore...

We took Air India and they will only going to check your full vaccination certificate which should have your passport number also mention on it.

The best time to visit Garden by bay is to reach there by 4pm so that you can see the gardens in day time and in evening as well for the light show...
Just keep in mind that there are two shows in evening... first is at 7:30pm & other is 8:30pm

Hi...was this hotel safe as it is located in lorang 18 geylang....was it safe at night? Because we have booked it but now concerned about the area while coming back from Singapore sightseeing..and we are only two people. No we haven't withdraw any cash from there.. It's not advisable as well because it has additional charges on that....
There will also be no need for cash in Singapore because they accept card everywhere... so best option is to get a forex card with you or Niyo card and use that in Singapore... Also many of the places they don't accept cash in Singapore so make sure to carry a card with you...

@@EscapewithVJ was it cumbersome to carry ur luggage around Jewel? Any safe keeping place? Cloak room. Our checkin won't be until 1500 hrs and we arrive around 1000hrs... so thought to explore the airport until then. Immigration and baggage collection took u around an hour?
@@smiledentgal see we didn't find it difficulty in managing our luggage ... but there is a clock room available where you can keep your luggage if you want....
Our flight timing was also in early morning and checkin was at 3pm... you can explore the airport in the meantime, there is a lot you can do!! and it will take around 30min to clear the immigration and baggage stuff... Also you can call n ask your hotel for early check-in, it worked for us 😉...
