I have started my bcom with integrated acca this year and college claims that we will get 6 paper exemption, college will take 3 paper exams in college and they also claim after completion of 6+3 paper in college we can get Obu degree and ICFE (International Certificate in Financial English) from University of Cambridge
After completing bcom and 9 paper what I have to do next? 3 year work experience? And how much scholarship I can expect?

I am member of both bodies, ACCA and CPA Canada (under MRA) but not successful in Canadian immigration. Little frustrated of paying annual subscription of ACCA/CPA. Is it worth to be good standing members of both bodies. Is visitor visa to work permit is a right solution, if finance can be managed.

Most of your courses for CPA canada will be waived. But you still have to give their final courses with final exams (CFE). It’s one of the toughest exam of CPA Canada

@@maxxizbak5145 This is only based on CPA. Once they will do your transcript assessment they will let you know how many of your CPA courses were exempted. It doesn't matter how many papers you gave for ACCA.
Also internship wise in CPA there is no internship required. Once you get a full accounting job you have to show your work experience according to CPA guidelines. If you don't have Canadian work experience then it will be really tough to get an accounting job in the start so keep that in mind.
If you want to convert to CPA education then you will need a bachelors degree or work experience of around 8 years to start the conversion process. Otherwise you will have to study from start for CPA. There are criteria that have to be fulfilled before you start the conversion process.

You can never manage this while studying and working. You cannot work more than 20 hours a week. It’s very tough to get a job without Canadian experience. So you will be most likely working part time and you can make around $1000 a month maximum.
