Thank you, everyone who has been praying for our daughter-in-law and granddaughter. Our granddaughter was born this past Tuesday. 7lbs 10 oz 19 3/ 4 long. They are home and doing well. Asking y'all to please pray for her big brother, Alex. He's having a hard time getting used to baby sister. He's use to being the only baby. We appreciate all the prayers for them.
My son goes back to school August 31 and my daughter goes back after Labor Day. I also go through my kids clothes before school starts to see what I can donate and what I need to buy. Great back school motivation 😊.

This or that: I'd choose lunch, I'd pack my own, my mom would drive me to school, and I'd choose reading, Your daughter's clean-with-me segment was so creative! Our trail mix is sunflower seeds, cheerios, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and cinnamon toast crunch. When I scoop out my serving, I add unsweetened shredded coconut and raisins. We go through a ton on trail mix while camping. I love the idea of shredding the chicken using a mixer. Couldn't be easier and another bowl does not get dirty. Blessings for a smooth transition from summer vacation into the new school year.
I would keep doing the back to school breakfast for them through out their school career. That is an awesome memory for them and something for them to do for their own children one day.

I made number pancakes of the school year my son was all the way up to high school and took pictures of him. I also do that for his birthday. He was at home for his birthday from college in May and he requested for me to make him the number "20" pancake for a birthday breakfast. So when they grow up they will remember these traditions. Wait till yours are as old as mine - My oldest is 35 and He's a Funeral Director, Son #2 is going to become a Doctor and he's 33. Our only Daughter is almost 29 and she's a teacher!! She did all the Cheer and dance things as well. Love all of your ideas for Back to School. This is my daughter’s first year of school, kindergarten. She went to preschool for about 6 months though. We still haven’t gotten a supply list, but on my to do list is buy her shoes, backpack, lunch box, do a Costco run for snacks, etc (I already bought most of her clothes). I’d also like to do teacher gifts, can’t wait to see your ideas. I’d love to organize and clean her room like you did here. Gracie June did such a good job helping!

Great video! You and the kids did a great job. I love the organizer with the school clothes. I'm going to do that with my daughter. My daughter is staying high school, 9th grade. Besides shopping for clothes and supplies, I schedule hair appt, stock up on snacks, prep my planner with the school and Extra curricular calendars, i check her school computer for any issues, then we Declutter and clean her room. Back to school is hard work. 😊 ❤This or that: 1. Lunch. 2. Pack lunch.

I purchased to plastic handled containers and filled one with first aid items and the second one with Tylenol, Advil, allergy medicine, cold and flu medicine, eye drops, saline solution, thermometer, Chapstick. She loved it! I would choose lunch, bring my lunch and Math.
I love your videos. When life feels out of hand, I sit down drink some coffee and watch a few of your videos. Watching what you do gives me motivation to do what I need to do. Hope the kids had a great first day back to school!

I homeschool our 5 year old and 3 year old (the 1 year old tags along 😂) and we started back last week. I prep and go through our curriculum before starting, I look through our homeschool co op activities to plan out field trips, get lots of snacks for during the day, I go through their clothes to see what doesn't fit, and get stocked up on basic school supplies. School only takes us 1 hour during the day so I don't have to prep a ton 😊
Love love love your BTS videos! We have our little traditions here of taking each kid to get a treat after their first day of school (we have different treats each day because we have one in middle and one elementary school).

I am an elementary school teacher and my son will be a sophomore in HS. I like to make the turkey sandwiches, bag them, and then put them in the freezer. He has always taken his lunch so this makes it easy. I also like to declutter and make sure the house is clean and laundry is caught up. This is pretty much a Sunday reset too.

Gracie June is a great helper! My boys are late teens now so we’ve been out of the back to school fun for several years. But I remember getting everything together, taking first day pics, writing notes and all that fun stuff. One year, I made a Candyland cake for the first day of my older son’s first grade class. She said she was happy to have it, but I bet she regretted it later that day 😂
Awesome back to school video. Choosing between school lunch and home lunch is a hard one, what if they’re serving something one day out of the week that you like but you can’t get it because you chose the home lunch option lol, as for reading or math, I’m definitely choosing the reading option, me and math do not work well together lol. Definitely gonna have to try your chicken spaghetti recipe, looked so good. Hope Caycen and Gracie June had an amazing first day of school.
I may be more sensitive to smell, but I definitely smell vinegar on my towels when I use it. I use baking soda now when I need to give towels or sheets an extra kick. I have also used a mixer in the crock pot. I didn’t think ahead about the impact and it made a huge mess not just on the walls, but on my microwave and a few other things. I was like nope, not doing this again. Lol I’m lazy also; it was more work to clean it off than it would’ve been just to pull apart the chicken for me. Thank you for sharing your back to school routine! Very cute ideas. I hope your kids have an amazing school year!

Finishing up the video this morning! I would rather eat school lunch! We always had the option of a cheeseburger, pizza, or a salad bar if we didn’t like what the main entree was! My high school cafeteria food was actually really good!

So fun!! Let's see...school lunch vs. pack (so I don't have to think about it and get a variety, lol). Ride with parent rather than bus. (These are the only 2 I could remember, haha.) That's great they had an awesome 1st day, no doubt the BTS breakfast was a big help! :) Our kids don't usually start until after Labor Day. We have a 6th grader, a 3rd grader, and a 1st grader this year, and I can't believe it! I was so emotional last year when our youngest finished Kindergarten 😭. Time sure does fly...Thank you for sharing!!
These videos are so much fun, Amy. My youngest is a sophomore this year, and he starts on the 23rd. We live in southeast Ohio. I would have to say recess, pack but when I went to the career center they had the best lunches, car rider but I always rode the bus till I got my license and reading but I'm not a big reading fan. My boys are late teens now so we’ve been out of the back to school fun for several years. But I remember getting everything together, taking first day pics, writing notes and all that fun stuff. One year, I made a Candyland cake for the first day of my older son’s first grade class. She said she was happy to have it, but I bet she regretted it later that day 😂

Awesome back to school video. Choosing between school lunch and home lunch is a hard one, what if they’re serving something one day out of the week that you like but you can’t get it because you chose the home lunch option lol, as for reading or math, I’m definitely choosing the reading option, me and math do not work well together lol. Definitely gonna have to try your chicken spaghetti recipe, looked so good. Hope Caycen and Gracie June had an amazing first day of school.

I may be more sensitive to smell, but I definitely smell vinegar on my towels when I use it. I use baking soda now when I need to give towels or sheets an extra kick.
I have also used a mixer in the crock pot. I didn’t think ahead about the impact and it made a huge mess not just on the walls, but on my microwave and a few other things. I was like nope, not doing this again. Lol I’m lazy also; it was more work to clean it off than it would’ve been just to pull apart the chicken for me. Thank you for sharing your back to school routine! Very cute ideas. I hope your kids have an amazing school year!

Finishing up the video this morning! I would rather eat school lunch! We always had the option of a cheeseburger, pizza, or a salad bar if we didn’t like what the main entree was! My high school cafeteria food was actually really good!

So fun!! Let's see...school lunch vs. pack (so I don't have to think about it and get a variety, lol). Ride with parent rather than bus. (These are the only 2 I could remember, haha.) That's great they had an awesome 1st day, no doubt the BTS breakfast was a big help! :) Our kids don't usually start until after Labor Day. We have a 6th grader, a 3rd grader, and a 1st grader this year, and I can't believe it! I was so emotional last year when our youngest finished Kindergarten 😭. Time sure does fly...Thank you for sharing!!

I only brought my lunch every once in a while during my school days .
These videos are so much fun, Amy. My youngest is a sophomore this year, and he starts on the 23rd. We live in southeast Ohio. I would have to say recess, pack but when I went to the career center they had the best lunches, car rider but I always rode the bus till I got my license and reading but I'm not a big reading fan.
