As a teacher I really appreciate you talking about us! We love to feel appreciated and the little notes and gifts really do mean a lot to us 💗🌻
Regarding the kids' artwork - one other idea is to keep just the most sentimental special ones and scan/digitize all the rest - that way you can have everything they've ever drawn, etc.. digitally. Then you can do one of those books that you can get made online - with either a chapter for each grade or a separate book for each grade, for each child. You can also have notecards, business cards, Christmas cards, shirts, bags, etc........with any of the images on them - the sky's the limit!!! Thanks for all the tips!!!!!

You're the organized mom I never had. Lol I love my mom, but because she lacked skills in organization and routines, back to school was always stressful, as were planning parties, school events, and everything else. Watching your content is so nice for me to watch because it indicates that these things can be done more easily and happily, instead of scrambling and stressful.
Love this comment! I relate to this so much, my mom rolls her eyes even today at a lot of this stuff, but this is calming and so helpful for us busy women/moms out here!!

I just love how you get organized for your children and help motivate them when school begins. How wonderful you talk about the teachers and to let them know how much you appreciate them. I was fortunate to take early retirement and afterwards worked part time for several years in school. They are dedicated to the children. I love the sidewalk chalk idea and the storage bags for their keepsakes (I previously kept a stack in a closet and then put them in a 3 ring binder at the end of the year… that gets messy and out of control very quickly!). I also look forward to reading the book you suggested. Ordering the book and storage bags now! I just found your channel a week ago and love your content. Thanks for the tips!

I love these tips! I use a file box for their artwork , memories, cards, school pictures…etc to keep. I have a file inside for each grade starting with preschool. I figured each child will have 2 -3 boxes to take with them when they are all grown up with their best memories. I always love the promises of a new school year ❤️

I have one single 10 week old 😅 I’m so ready to have several school aged kiddos. Trying to enjoy the present and soak up the newborn cuddles but I’m so excited for the future as well. 💖

These are all great ideas. I do want to say don’t forget the aides. They are not only 1:1 they do help the entire class. Even the lunch ladies. The spend a part of the day with the kids that is just as important. Just saying. May not have the biggest role as teachers but they do help.

Incredible!! Excellent video, as a mum from the uk I didn’t realise quite how lucky we are with regards to school supplies - we literally only need to fill a pencil case for our kids, even then it’s not a demand! You guys must spent a lot of money on school stuff !! ❤️

Hi Lauren, I love how you send the kids’ school supplies in a large bag with the checklist with their names on . I also love how you welcome the teachers into your children’s lives. I love your back-to-school traditions and all the ways you remind your kids that you’re always thinking of them throughout the day. We have the Kissing Hand, too, and The Invisible String. My six year-old daughter refers to the Invisible String often. are such a kind-hearted mama and beautiful inside and out. I wanted to ask where you got the bins with lids for the homework caddy. I was looking in your links but didn’t find them. I love the zipper pouches for the school work, but I think I’ll use those for puzzles and board games, too. Your blog is beautiful! Can’t wait to try some of your recipes.

Lauren,I have to tell you that our school district just this year is having the parents of the athletes fill out new paperwork on line. IT TOOK ME A HOUR! Im mentally drained and thought they were going to ask for a kidney because they wanted EVERYTHING!
Wow never realised in us you have to buy supplies aswell all books and stationery is included in the school here even government ones! Im here stressing over some new shoes and a fresh lunch bag haha
