Yes!!! I agree. Wouldn't you love to go thrifting with him...I think my husband is jealous bc I sit and watch these videos all the time and I literally laugh out loud, my hubby doesn't know what's funny bc he doesn't have that kind of sense of humor, I do and think he is hilarious.....my hubby has no sense of humor btw so of course he wouldn't find anything funny, unless he says it himself.
"It just kept coming and coming and coming.......It's like going out and collecting money." Same thing I tell my husband after I visit the bins! Love it!
OK you peeking through the jogger pants made me chuckle. Enjoying your channel! I've started back at reselling myself and don't know as much about clothes so your videos are very helpful.
Bravo for not feeling the need to show us the price...what a time suck. I suppose the others do this to show proof...RIDICULOUS! If people doubt you...they can bounce...ain't nobody got time for that!
Dude you are making me love selling clothing. Great timing for this video too. I find myself cleaning our vacation rental tonight and needed some way to pass the time. Thank you!
Burberry Nova Check Plaid. Another great batch of finds! I am selling more and more men's and never gave the Travis Matthews stuff a second glance. Our GW's are lousy with it.
I appreciate how relatable you are! I too thrift slow - however I feel I am VERY thorough and pick up sooo much of what other people leave behind. Also, as a self employed person who moved 2x last year during the pandemic (one time across states) it really is wonderful to have the freedom of time to make those life changes. However it cuts into your work schedule massively! So on the one hand its a blessing to have freedom but also can be very disruptive when you make money from home like resellers do
Your dry wit is exactly what I needed today. 😆 Sorry you’re having to move without notice but you’re handling it better than I would! 👍🏼 Great haul! Btw, I found Rag & Bone ONCE....men’s jeans and sold them quickly for $60 (likely should have asked for more).
Thank you for putting out a haul video in the midst of your move. Good luck with that. I always learn something from you and get inspired when I watch your videos.
The Dege & skinner was a great find. It has a royal warrant above the name. Only a fraction of companies get that warrant and they display it with pride. Not everyone can work for the Queen. These brands are cream of the crop!
The Rag and Bone Men's shirt is so nice! Big fan of their clothes for women, hard to part with pieces I find if it's my size. Really great haul, thanks for sharing! Hope listing goes well, can't wait to see the what sold video coming soon!
Very informative. Moving is hard but usually rewarding since it allows you to recreate your environment to be more pleasing and efficient. Hope it brings you lots of inspiration.
I’m pretty sure those last prana pants are the “Halle” convertible hiking pants lol I’ve sold a few pairs for between $40-$60 and as soon as I saw the articulated stitching at the knees and the silhouette I was like oh those are Halle pants those should do great! My brain can remember these things at random but still can’t remember my password to anything
I appreciate you rescuing suits. I love finding suits at the bins, but always afraid of spending a good $20 on a suit (money is super tight right now) in another store and having it sit for a very long time...but I'm trying to balance things that will sell fast (hopefully). I'll try looking for higher-end suits, try one, see how it does. Thank you for the motivation! Love the vintage suits.
Douglas Adams might surprise you. The comedy in the books is much drier than in the movie. It's a quick read, and would be worth it to check your library to get your hands on the first book. Of course, I've been saying I need to seek out Terry Pratchett for ages.
The logger shirt is called the Hickory shirt.. Here in WA...Kids used to wear those to school along with key loggerpants Is afraid at the bottom.... Oh and also a mullet hairdo....lol
Thanks for the recommendation on fishing gear, I know nothing about it so I wouldn't have thought they were worth much. Found a few Huk shorts and shirts for a few bucks each today.
Tori Richard has been one of my personal best sellers, one of my favorite brands to sell, usually sell within a month for me for around ~30 (the floral patterns)
Oh wow, that Harley Davidson shirt with Bakersfield and Merle Haggard Drive is my hometown. Merle Haggard and Buck Owens are Bakersfield original country music artists. I have never seen that shirt. Very cool.
I love that you grabbed the Brooks Bros colorblock. Had been on the rack for at least a week. Saw Lululemon leggings there last night for $29.99. Easiest the most expensive Goodwill in our area
I also am in the same boat as you. Find those $5 items, flip for 10-15, just gotta make bills. I'm shamed for this by some other resellers, but if we were always finding the 100, 500 dollar fast flip items everyone would be reselling. Keep at it!!!
I recognize those north face convertible pants, I’ve sold a few different pairs that were vintage and got $20 for one $30 for another, I made more off my mountain hardware brand convertible pants. Anyway people are still wearing high waisted pants now for sure. I find it interesting that low rise is making a comeback because I thought they were gone for good. I’m a slow thriftier too I like to really inspect things and look at everything and rarely made it thru an entire store bc the stores where I live are so over saturated with stuff which is a blessing but still. I need to go more often and revamp my store with more sought after items.
I sold a pair of stretch bootcut Ariat jeans to a NYC customer on Depop, and she's in hipster heaven. Yes, thrifting takes a good, long time! The family just doesn't understand. I just listed some nice Addidas ladies golf shorts (from Carmel!). Did you say that you're not currently a fancy guy? I'm pretty sure several of us beg to differ.
Your videos are so motivating to me! It makes me want to jump into thrift stores and find all the great men's wear with the info I learned from you. Best of luck listing! I know that's not the most fun part of the job lol
Love your sense of humor and the info is truly needed, thank you! - wait wait... here's one! I don't usually see the brands you share . . . BUT WHEN I DO . . . I'll be thanking youuu! Again :)
You are correct, it's a woman's 511 shirt ...on pearl snap shirts the outer pearl button is on the right for woman (from the perspective of the wearer) ....but on a men's shirt it is on the left (vs a normal button shirt which is men's on the right)
Salve (like the medicine, paste, unguent)-ill not Suh-vil as in the city, you are a smart man, sound like it. You help us, let us help you. Glad you found a good place.
That fish shirt is gorgeous! Figs if I can find them sell in hours or minutes for a great price. Now you've got me excited to see how you handle block from the thrift. I'm 5 miles from the bins - so I feel your temptation :-)
These CA prices hurt my soul. Most of my thrifties here in MI don't charge more than 4.99 for pants and like 1.99 t-shirts for days. Unless it's a price-gouging place obviously. Love your videos! I pretty much have the Manifesto open at the thrift store all the time.
Thanks for your videos! I sell mostly women’s and kids clothing on all the platforms and have been venturing into men’s lately. I would have never ever recognized a wild, crazy bold Robert Graham shirt as valuable if not for your videos. I picked one up a few weeks ago for $6 and I’m looking at comps in shock!!! Also, my thrifts are crazy overpriced like yours are. I’m in NoCal and my Goodwill will price some denim at $36! But of course they miss the real good stuff and I was very happy to pay $6 for this Graham artwork on fabric 😂
Super deja vu watching this video. I source in San Diego and was listing anchor blues when you pulled them out. Then figs pants after that. I’ve avoided the salvation armies like the plague because of their prices, but you give them *some* hope for sourcing.
Hey Matt, here's a tip for French pronunciation. The final consonant of words is usually silent. So, no "s" sound for Yves and no "t" sound for Saint and Laurent. In another video, you were unsure of the pronunciation of the city Cannes. Same rule applies, so no "s" sound at the end of this word. It is pronounced can, as in can of tuna
I were sun glasses everywhere I go since I started reselling. I am always watching people, just to observe what they are wearing. Especially the younger folks. Am no creep but I take my reselling job seriously 🤓 so I get you Matt
One of the places I thrift (Georgia) staples their prices (ugh) but I pay .75- 2.50 per piece…not alway the best stuff but still… I had to buy stable removers….I tried reading Hitcher’s Guide years ago and could not get into it
Those freaking staples!!! I have a local thrift store that staple tags all of their clothes and it is so infuriating!! I have had to toss so many good shirts because of their barbaric tagging methods….
Thanks to watching your great videos I came across a backpack labeled football clothing. Opened it up and inside was a bunch of nike combat so you know I had to pick it up ✌
EPIC HAUL!! So much information in your video. I would love to know what the picture collage app you mentioned was. I didn't see a link or name anywhere, but I may have simply missed it.
My husband said the Muay Thai shorts literally say “Muay Thai” in the Tai language. He’s huge on martial arts so if you have any other questions post them on your videos and I’ll see if he can help out, since I’ve learned about a lot of men’s clothing brands because of you. I mainly sell women’s clothing and share my halls also on my TH-cam channel, I don’t come across enough men stuff most of the time, but your hauls are teaching me a lot. Sorry that you have to move all your inventory. MOVING SUCKS!
You said .... "If I lived near a thrift store, I'd go everyday" you put it out in the universe and it came back to you.
Haha “hopefully that didn’t sound creepy”. 😂
I find your videos both hilarious and informative, thanks for another great one. 👍🏻✌🏻😅
Best sense of humor In TH-cam land🙂
Yes!!!
Crazy little devil 👿
“I feel like a little German girl” had me rolling
I too feel like a German girl collecting mushrooms in the forest while thrifting, huh weird, I thought I was the only one! 😂
🥰
That was too funny, but somehow true. I feel the same
I love that analogy.. only another reseller gets it!
I'm not a reseller, but I feel the same at the thrift stores -- well, not quite the same. I'm a French girl
Me too! It makes me feel like skipping!
The Trojan Jamaica top, definitely rare and I suggest you try listing a bit higher. . Trojan is a famous Jamaican record label.
Great video! You have a soothing voice that I listen to while I list. Not to mention, grab key takeaways as well. Thanks for all you do.
Bravo for not feeling the need to show us the price...what a time suck. I suppose the others do this to show proof...RIDICULOUS! If people doubt you...they can bounce...ain't nobody got time for that!

Gotta say...your vids are the very VERY few I give a like to before I even hit play. 🔥

You certainly have a way with words. Your dry humor cracks me up!
Very informative. Moving is hard but usually rewarding since it allows you to recreate your environment to be more pleasing and efficient. Hope it brings you lots of inspiration.
You are looking for Nova Check for the Burberry shirt.
Nice haul! FYI Carhartt makes scrubs so those " almost scrubs" probably are.
Thanks for the content, humor, knowledge.
I’m pretty sure those last prana pants are the “Halle” convertible hiking pants lol I’ve sold a few pairs for between $40-$60 and as soon as I saw the articulated stitching at the knees and the silhouette I was like oh those are Halle pants those should do great! That YSL suit is gorgeous!😃
Those were Carhartt scrubs -- my RN husband's favorite!
You're the only reseller youtuber that I would watch if I weren't a reseller. Another great and equally funny video.
I ❤ this guy. So transparent and helpful. He's a gem
You always have me cracking up! Love the content 😊
i was digging those green Levi's pants, they are great. and then you said 'if these fit me, I might keep them". I LOLed.
Great haul! Thanks for sharing. I think the Burberry pattern is called Nova Check.
Douglas Adams might surprise you. The comedy in the books is much drier than in the movie. It's a quick read, and would be worth it to check your library to get your hands on the first book. Of course, I've been saying I need to seek out Terry Pratchett for ages.

I enjoy your videos. I liked how you had the pants on your head just to show the detail on the joggers- that's a true commitment to the work 💪
I love that you grabbed the Brooks Bros colorblock. Had been on the rack for at least a week. Saw Lululemon leggings there last night for $29.99. Easiest the most expensive Goodwill in our area
It's a ridiculous place. Tragically, it's also the thrift store I first cut my teeth reselling in.
I also am in the same boat as you. Find those $5 items, flip for 10-15, just gotta make bills. I'm shamed for this by some other resellers, but if we were always finding the 100, 500 dollar fast flip items everyone would be reselling. Keep at it!!!
I do this too. I’m happy to take a $5 profit if it’s a quick flip.
I recognize those north face convertible pants, I’ve sold a few different pairs that were vintage and got $20 for one $30 for another, I made more off my mountain hardware brand convertible pants.
Hey man, just bought you a coffee. I get so much value from your content, and you even make me laugh.
Always learn something new from you! Love your brand of sarcastic humor. And Dooney & Bourke is definitely a good find. Good luck on the move!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge... love your humor! 💜
Always watching and learning. Thanks best TH-cam channel
Love your sense of humor and the info is truly needed, thank you! - wait wait... here's one!
I don't usually see the brands you share . . . BUT WHEN I DO . . . I'll be thanking youuu! Again :)

Hey man, I feel you. We just got told we need to relocate as well. Glad you found a place so quickly though!
I found Zoic recently-had no idea what it was but it felt good. Sold in a day or 2
Just found your channel, subscribed, and recommended to friends - Usefully awesome content!
Hey Matt, Great video. Nice intro and cloths. Lol. Storytelling is improving. Not so much interested in reselling, but following the journey.
Salve (like the medicine, paste, unguent)-ill not Suh-vil as in the city, you are a smart man, sound like it. You help us, let us help you. Glad you found a good place.
The carhartt pants are scrub pants. I'm a nurse & have a couple pairs. Love the fit and they are popular right now.
Great Haul! I'm shocked at the thrift store prices in California. You'd love our prices here in Florida!
"Whatever the noun is"....lol, yeah you're not tired at all! I'm a mind genius as well but I'm the only one who knows that haha. Great video.
My favorite ball cap is Big Dogs! I have had that thing for years.
Priceless information! Thx for the consistency and added humor
Congrats on another great haul! Looking forward to the big fat 'What Sold' video and happy moving. ;-)
That fish shirt is gorgeous! Figs if I can find them sell in hours or minutes for a great price. Now you've got me excited to see how you handle block from the thrift. I'm 5 miles from the bins - so I feel your temptation :-)

I’m in SD, too - and seeing the low prices others pay hurts my soul! 😭
Oh lawdie, if only I found Rapha in the wild. Super good haul!
Enjoy watching your videos they are so valuable, thank you 🙏
Found a pair of Birdwells trunks :) Also my thrifts are always lunching on plain vintage Patagonia capilene t shirts, they fly out the door.
Speckled trout and Redfish or Red Drum - marsh fishing in the gulf or eastern US
Just found your channel recently and love it! Thank you so much for all your experience and wisdom!
There must not be that much Travis Matthew on the east coast because I never see it. I see Peter Millar and Footjoy all the time though.
Thanks for your videos! I sell mostly women’s and kids clothing on all the platforms and have been venturing into men’s lately. Aloha! Great video! HIC is Hawaiian Island Creation. Local surf brand, good to know, I will pick up when I see it!
Super deja vu watching this video. I source in San Diego and was listing anchor blues when you pulled them out. Then figs pants after that. I’ve avoided the salvation armies like the plague because of their prices, but you give them *some* hope for sourcing.
"It is a death pile, and I have died." Nice.
If you have a pointed letter opener they work well to to open the staples and get them off
This is what i use! It is a mini version of frotos sword string from LOTR lol
Great haul! Good luck with your move.
The "chav plaid." LOL I'm dead.
You got me thinking about selling lures and rods......waders....I got plenty around here...
Seriously appreciate your content!! The best

"You don't care" comment had me dying haha. Literally what I was thinking that whole time.
"hopefully that didn't sound creepy" LoL 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for identifying those fish. It's those little details that Keep me coming back
I were sun glasses everywhere I go since I started reselling. I am always watching people, just to observe what they are wearing. Especially the younger folks. Am no creep but I take my reselling job seriously 🤓 so I get you Matt
Deige and Skinner suits start for around $5K ! They have Royal Warrants!
One of the places I thrift (Georgia) staples their prices (ugh) but I pay .75- 2.50 per piece…not alway the best stuff but still…
I had to buy stable removers….I tried reading Hitcher’s Guide years ago and could not get into it
Great video as always! I definitely learn a lot!
I just sold a Patagonia overcast shirt with local brewery embroidery today for $50, but I bought it late Feb, so sat on it a while (spent 10).
Your goodwill is crazy. Mine isn't even CLOSE to those prices.
best of luck and for u got some really good ones.
God, you're hilarious!...good luck on your move... love your videos
Those freaking staples!!! I have a local thrift store that staple tags all of their clothes and it is so infuriating!! I have had to toss so many good shirts because of their barbaric tagging methods….
“Hopefully that didn’t sound creepy”. I lol’d.
Thanks to watching your great videos I came across a backpack labeled football clothing. Opened it up and inside was a bunch of nike combat so you know I had to pick it up ✌
Muay Thai shorts always sell awesome for me, wish I could find more!!
You are very funny today😂. You’re a very stable genius I guess🤔
I want to go sourcing in your neck of the woods! I never see these brands!
Love your videos. Laugh and learn all at the same time. 😁
EPIC HAUL!! So much information in your video.
I would love to know what the picture collage app you mentioned was. I didn't see a link or name anywhere, but I may have simply missed it.
It's called "PicCollage"
@@ThriftALife thank you!!
Thanks for showing the labels.
Paid 10$ for FJ brand Polo's today. Is that not good?? My goodwill is a little more pricey in my area. Learning a lot from your video's. Thanks 💗🌸
Im in love☺️ , so smart and funny🌺
My husband said the Muay Thai shorts literally say “Muay Thai” in the Tai language. He’s huge on martial arts so if you have any other questions post them on your videos and I’ll see if he can help out, since I’ve learned about a lot of men’s clothing brands because of you.

Wow that's awesome haul 😊, great video
Hauty-ist, Tauty-ist...I like it. Taking it.
Thanks for the videos man. Very helpful
