@@WhiskeyRiverTradingCo I can imagine! I’m gonna be in the same situation. I gotta split a cord & I just bought the FE6 from you guys & I’m looking forward to using that beast for this cord.
This was a fun video. Great job seeing it through. 👏 curious how long it actually too you to cut it down? It's OK if you don't disclose the time. But I am curious lol. Great video.
Notch on the front was too shallow and too high. Back notch was too low, that’s the reason the tree took so long. I just ordered the jersey axe from Henry Epstein in Kansas City excited for it to arrive!
More time sharpening means less time chopping! And work on your grip a little. You tell the axe where to go, not the other way around. The key is to never give up. You've got that part nailed. It's a good thing axe work is fun, right?
I just got my Jersey Axe and it's awesome!!
Thank you Whiskey River!
Definitely will be passing it down to my boys.
this was a tall order for the for being the first time chopping a large tree with an axe. good workout though...
That was a beast of a tree. Hard too. In the end, good job.
Take your time,and always,always concentrate on accuracy,mate
Maybe you could get buckin to do a review

If I remember correctly it was just shy of 45 minutes total. It was a tough piece of wood haha

I would suggest sharpening it first!
Plus that is more axe than you can swing!
Plus Ash is like a brick, bit profile is all wrong!!
No.
Brandon is kicking some ash! but latte's ain't the way to go when doing hard work bro. loved the video.
Hahaha. Thanks for this comment. 😂😂

You gotta work on your swing and accuracy a bit.
