    Many large freshwater predators do not hesitate to take their food on the surface of the water, and in many cases the ecosystems in which they live tend to have a high biodiversity. In this type of scenario, many animeles usually swim on the surface of the water and end up in the jaws of some predatory fish.
    Rodents are also a frequent and numerous population in any field, one of the most frequent prey for these fish hunters, which is why the imitations of rodents are often among the favorite of pike and bass fishermen.
    This imitation has a great look and combines it with an irresistible movement for any fish that is lurking.

    Excelente!!! Me cansé del pelo de ciervo. El foam le da la flotabilidad sin tanto amontonamiento de pelo. Sin duda la voy a hacer y probar. Felicitaciones!!!

    That is an extremely smart tie!
    I think I'm going to try a single hook miniature of this.
    Have you tried doing a dubbing brush/composite loop over the foam? For smaller sizes it might be more castable.
    That fly must look great in the water. I'm enamored by it. What size rod do you fish it on?

      Thanks my friend! best regards!! this is the best way i have found, i havent have problems with casting if you choose the rigth line and leader settings. best regards

    That’s a great pattern. Is there a reason you used two hooks and one one hook and a shank?

    • @rubenmartinflies
      @rubenmartinflies  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, i dont like shanks to make atmrticulate flies, they tend to get tangle

      Hola Andre, con el correcto seteo de lineas, largo de leader y tecnica de casteo la podes tirar tranquilamente con una caña para linea 9 o 10, de todas formas la podes hacer mas chiquita e ir viendo el tamaño adecuado para el equipo que generalmente usas. Pronto voy a estar subiendo un videito casteando este tipo de moscas y mostrando algunos tips. Saludos

      Hola Santiago, como andas, al canal lo miran 125mil personas por mes de las cuales cerca del 80% de ellas no son de habla hispana, por eso decidimos mostrar en vez de hablar, tenemos videos en los cuales explico y hablo y no son de los videos con mas visualizaciones. Para los que estan interesados en aprender a atar mas en detalle dictamos cursos en vivo, donde se explica a fondo cada detalle y los alumnos pueden hacer preguntas, etc. Saludos!

    The long tail promotes short strikes. Shorten the tail.

    • @rubenmartinflies
      @rubenmartinflies  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Buddy, yes but, i use this imitation to fish golden Dorado and they strike by the head of the fish not from the tail, thats why we use short shank hooks and long tails flies for fishing them. Best regards
