I got my mom the rompers but in a raisin color back in January. It was the only one Target had and it had no price tag on it. The cashier charged her $10. She got so many compliments on that bathing suit from the other ladies at her condo complex. I have never seen her so confident in a bathing suit before! The black suit looked great on you.
Once the weather warms up, I'd love a report on how some of your swimsuits hold up in the water! So many I've had look great when dry and then stretch and balloon in the water!

I purchased a skirt/skort style bottom from Target that has strings on each side which will pull the skirt up to a cute fabric draping. I love it. Good video.

Thanks for hauling Target for us! I love how real and honest your reviews are, and you always take your audience into consideration even if it’s not a first choice! I laughed out loud at your pockets comment! Finding unexpected pockets is always a plus! I have noticed that Target has been adding outside shipping brands for a while now, and I really hope they don’t get too lost in that; otherwise you get Walmart’s website. However, I do love that you can filter for Target brands and avoid them as well, so I’m happy for that option when I get overwhelmed. Walmart is already too stressful to shop online! Having said that, Walmart has some great swim options this season! Would love to see a swim hail from them again!
I agree with you on the Walmart website....that whole outside brand/shipping thing is really confusing to me sometimes. We no longer have a Target in my hometown and the two that are within reasonable distance don't seem to carry much in plus size range at all. Disappointing .

I bought the romper one two years ago for my husband's and my anniversary trip. it is kind of high up top and a pain to put on and a bit latge in the chest but it's so cute. I actually felt like I didn't look awful in it.

Loved the leopard print top! Last year I loved the black and leopard print one at Chic Soul, but I blinked and they were all gone. Still obsessively checking to see if they restock. The swim roper is very cute! It would be so perfect for visiting a water Park. Thanks for going out there and trying these on so by the time I venture out, I already have an idea of what I am looking for.
I agree with you in thinking the selection would be better at Target. I liked the romper (I’m probably close to your mothers age) I use to like the swim skirts with a longer babydoll style top or a swim dress type of thing. However when you get in the water the flowey part floats to the surface of the water and usually makes me feel self conscious. Is that just me? I’m thinking the romper style might not have that same effect in the water. In the past JC Penny typically has a good selection of swimsuits in both plus and regular sizes. Have you ever checked them out?
I know what you mean about the flowy tops or dresses just floating up - makes me feel like a jelly fish! My favorite now is a swim skirt with a ruffle top like the leopard one - ruffles in front but fitted in back so it doesn't balloon!

Target started listing goods by other sellers on their site fairly recently....like maybe in the last six months? Walmart has been doing it for years and I HATE it. I always start my searches by filtering out goods listed by other sellers. So many of them have different return policies and don't allow things to be returned to the stores.

My mom is a bigger woman and had a romper swimsuit a couple years ago and she hated it. the chlorine stretched the shorts so much like down to her knees and she like 5'9 and it was so hard for her to get down to use the restroom. we just wear skirts and tankini tops. we shop jcpenneys.
There were a few things that were cute but I have been more and more disappointed with Target's plus size section lately. Thank you for trying though. 😊
