Gehlee is literally a clout magnet, her TikTok videos and Twitter clips are views by millions in less than a few days, F&F doesn't know how to further utilized her capability
It's just been 3 months and they're still learning the ropes as a newbie company. Besides, at the time of their debut, Gehlee is still not that well-versed in Korean, so no wonder she was not being utilized as much (like in promos, interviews, and songs). But once she improves (like how she is now), it would be crazy for them not to use their trump card more (Gehlee) for their comeback. Remember that they're a business first and foremost - money, reach, and marketing would trump any xenophobia, if there's any.

Maybe if they go out of Korea more and have more international guestings, shows, and concerts, only then could they disregard/engage less with the Korean market. You forgot how expressive Elisia is with her dancing, maintaining facial expressions that corresponds to the song's vibe and lyrics. It's one thing people keep missing about her. If you see her fancams she never stays in one facial expression which makes her satisfying to watch, impressive even.

I think the different betweek seowon and elisas vocal tecnique.. is seowon is very using alot of head voice. Thats why when shes hitting highnite she always sound flat doesnt have room for vocal colors.m but still sound clean.. then theres elisa who use chest voice.. so her breathing tecnique is controll.. so she can hit the highnite with vocal colors like.. playing with the vocall. Even putting run in the highnote..
Hmm.... Actually Seowon's mixed register is far more chesty than Elisia. And Seowon is actually using head voice while Elisia is using Falsetto most of the time.

While Elisia has somewhat more balanced mixed compared to her which showcases her nice soft tone and her mastery with dynamics which our commenter her suggest "vocal colors." But the thing is, she constricts her REAL voice so that she can sound more pleasantly and emotional but technically speaking its quite nasal and lacks depth. One thing is for certain both are okay singers but BOTH NEED IMPROVEMENT. Seowon should learn to mix her voice so that it won't sound pushy and Elisia needs to start singing more openly.
My bias is Elisia because of her passion, she looks really happy while performing on stage. Her eyes are always twinkling, and I like her being optimistic all the time.
Kotoko is so underrated talent wise I think she is the charm that brings you to like unis it makes the performance more enjoyable and she sticks out I just love kotoko !!

People here saying "Gehlee is not yet good at korean, reason why they don't give her lines" Bruh, Im not a korean but I can sing korean songs with perfect pronunciation, since Gehlee is smart and hardworking, Im pretty sure she can pull it off. Another example, Kz Tandingan is not chinese but she can sing chinese songs well. Filipinos are known to mimic, since it's just a line im sure as hell Gehlee can do it, she already slayed some korean songs in Universe ticket but you all still doubting her, you guys are just low-key trying to bring her down. I really hope they give more lines to Gehlee, Elisia, and Oh Yoona.. these 3 are the most underrated in the group.
In recent guestings UNIS had, I've noticed gehlee has improved in her Korean and she's speaking it more than she used to so I feel like in their comeback Gehlee might have more lines ^^

Unicorns(product designers) were there to pick out the ones with the most potential and best fit for the group. Fan voting to determine which of the judge's picks will get the most support/acceptance from the consumer(fans). Pretty much the whole UT show was a large scale focus group.

I agree with this. Except for Hyeonju, all members are still considered minors. That is why they usually do family oriented exposures and limit their concept to bare minimum. As they progress, they might explore on different style of music that is better suited to their individual character, both in singing and dancing styles. I am impressed, their company is protecting their reputation quite well. ❤

Wow, with your analysis I came into conclusion that they’re fated to be within the group, they fit on their own roles. Also if one lacks in certain part, someone would cover that, like they have someone who can support them when needed. Sad to say they’re all underrated because all of them can do almost anything. Elisia few lines, gehlee few lines, hyeonju can do high notes, hyunha few lines, yoona few lines which can actually sing she’s from like a singing show before on yt. So yeah this group is really talented they just need to highlight everyone. I hope they find out how.

Sometimes Elisia fans make me resentful towards Elisia, but then I remember that her fans don’t represent her. Not on this particular video, but I’ve seen so many of her fans trash talking Seowon. One of them said that Seowon can’t sing and she only screams… bruh, tell me you know nothing about singing without telling me you know nothing about singing. Seen some call her a “crybaby” or “diva” as well. The only time I’ve seen her cry was when she got promoted ranks and then once when she was sick and had to come in late and was stressed. Also she was 12 at that time 💀. Anyways, I think it’s ridiculous that people are pinning the girls against each other when they’re friends and they both debuted. I bring this up because whenever i see a comment about either girl, a fan of the other one has to come in and say, “Well so-and-so is better because 🤓” and it’s honestly annoying. They are different people with different sets of skills. Sure one could have better technique, but at the end of the day they’re literally a team. And I understand being upset that your bias isn’t getting many lines, but there’s no need to take it out on the person that is getting lines. And when you complain about it, you don’t need to bring down that person either - especially when they’re children. Again these girls are all friends, so when you talk trash on one of them, it can affect all of them. I’m sure Elisia isn’t happy that some of her fans are wishing the worst for Seowon and vice versa. Long rant, but I needed to get that off my chest after I just read a comment here saying Seowon shouts when she sings lol.
I would suggest to you a template to further vistualize the idols strength and weakness. First you can introduce them in what they are good at, next the foundation on where did they get those strength which is their past. After that to analize their weakness you can compare it on what it would bring for them in the future. For example, Gehlee is weak in dancing because she don't have any experience on dancing, meanwhile during universe ticket the judge was enlighten on the potential of Gehlee as a dancer. As you can see, the improvement she show during the show until she finally debut is evident to the naked eye. That's all, thank you. 🥰❤️❤️

Unis has a lot of potential if only they receive good management and equal opportunity for each members. They can explore different concepts and they will kill it. It's also surprising how fast they improve, a proof that they can be one of the best girl groups in their generation.
People might disagree with me, but tbh I never minded Kotoko's poor vocals even during UT. I think the group is very balanced. Some of them are great singers, some sing poorly. Some of them are great dancers, some are not. However, they look great as a group when performing.
Yoona and Yunha are the less liked among the members but there's so underrated but just because sometimes because of the unfair line distribution we all forgot how good they are in the UT all of them exel on the show
They're all stunning and talented young ladies. UNIS members are all improved in terms of their abilities and skills that attract so many fans in the future

Another example, Kz Tandingan is not chinese but she can sing chinese songs well. Filipinos are known to mimic, since it's just a line im sure as hell Gehlee can do it, she already slayed some korean songs in Universe ticket but you all still doubting her, you guys are just low-key trying to bring her down. I really hope they give more lines to Gehlee, Elisia, and Oh Yoona.. these 3 are the most underrated in the group.
In recent guestings UNIS had, I've noticed gehlee has improved in her Korean and she's speaking it more than she used to so I feel like in their comeback Gehlee might have more lines ^^

@@EKCristobal Exactly! At the end of the day, the group was formed to financially benefit the company through entertainment. UT was the testing ground(advertisement) for the "product". Unicorns(product designers) were there to pick out the ones with the most potential and best fit for the group. Fan voting to determine which of the judge's picks will get the most support/acceptance from the consumer(fans). Pretty much the whole UT show was a large scale focus group.

I agree with this. Except for Hyeonju, all members are still considered minors. That is why they usually do family oriented exposures and limit their concept to bare minimum. As they progress, they might explore on different style of music that is better suited to their individual character, both in singing and dancing styles. I am impressed, their company is protecting their reputation quite well. ❤

Wow, with your analysis I came into conclusion that they’re fated to be within the group, they fit on their own roles. Also if one lacks in certain part, someone would cover that, like they have someone who can support them when needed. They’re like a 8 puzzle pieces that completes a canvas, now they are starting to paint that canvas.

Sometimes Elisia fans make me resentful towards Elisia, but then I remember that her fans don’t represent her. Not on this particular video, but I’ve seen so many of her fans trash talking Seowon. One of them said that Seowon can’t sing and she only screams… bruh, tell me you know nothing about singing without telling me you know nothing about singing. Seen some call her a “crybaby” or “diva” as well. The only time I’ve seen her cry was when she got promoted ranks and then once when she was sick and had to come in late and was stressed. Also she was 12 at that time 💀. Anyways, I think it’s ridiculous that people are pinning the girls against each other when they’re friends and they both debuted. I bring this up because whenever i see a comment about either girl, a fan of the other one has to come in and say, “Well so-and-so is better because 🤓” and it’s honestly annoying. They are different people with different sets of skills. Sure one could have better technique, but at the end of the day they’re literally a team. And I understand being upset that your bias isn’t getting many lines, but there’s no need to take it out on the person that is getting lines. And when you complain about it, you don’t need to bring down that person either - especially when they’re children. Again these girls are all friends, so when you talk trash on one of them, it can affect all of them. I’m sure Elisia isn’t happy that some of her fans are wishing the worst for Seowon and vice versa.
Long rant, but I needed to get that off my chest after I just read a comment here saying Seowon shouts when she sings lol.
I would suggest to you a template to further vistualize the idols strength and weakness. First you can introduce them in what they are good at, next the foundation on where did they get those strength which is their past. After that to analize their weakness you can compare it on what it would bring for them in the future.
For example, Gehlee is weak in dancing because she don't have any experience on dancing, meanwhile during universe ticket the judge was enlighten on the potential of Gehlee as a dancer. As you can see, the improvement she show during the show until she finally debut is evident to the naked eye.

People might disagree with me, but tbh I never minded Kotoko's poor vocals even during UT. I think the group is very balanced. Some of them are great singers, some sing poorly. Some of them are great dancers, some are not. However, they look great as a group when performing.
Yoona and Yunha are the less liked among the members but there's so underrated but just because sometimes because of the unfair line distribution we all forgot how good they are in the UT all of them exel on the show
They're all stunning and talented young ladies. UNIS members are all improved in terms of their abilities and skills that attract so many fans in the future

Notice how the "vocally-weak" and "dance-weak" members from UT have steadily improved overtime seeing their performances, and this is just 3 months in. They're not yet all-rounders as of now, but that's what they're trying to achieve.

If they ever did a western style song, I think Gehlee and Elisia would absolutely shine in it. Kpop prefers higher register when it comes to songs, so that's why members like Kotoko and Nana get more vocals lines than Gehlee even though Gehlee is more skilled vocally.

At this point, I don't even see anything lacking with the members, other than the foreign members Korean language proficiency so they can be more balanced as a group, yes for me they're already good in their performances although improvements are always necessary as idols. I want to see them in other concepts as well, though they're kinda limited right now due to some members' age, I think they can make up for it with their talents and maximizing members unique traits and charms.
