After touring so many cottagecore Islands that were cluttered and hard to navigate this is an absolute breath of fresh air!

The creator made this island feel HUUUGE. Absolutely insane. The creativity and all the spot-on elements of New York City are just... breathtaking. Big props to this creator.
I lived in new york and the Highline was so accurate to the feeling! One of the most creative yet simple and realistic builds I've seen!
The high line is my favorite part. They captured it perfectly in mini acnh form. So cool!

The "loft" area off the highline is Chelsea Market, and they got the brick walls and everything right! So creative.

I love this so much! There's a cop show from the 70s that i sometimes watch and it takes place in New York. I'd love to do an island like this and make it based off the show. I'm not that talented lol

I'm not quite sure I understand why those bunk beds are on top of the buildings. I really don't know of a lot of buildings that have that kind of lattice on top, and if if you have any walkways anywhere near them you can see their bunk beds.
They’re a common trick from before the update, because there weren’t a lot of large blocky items in the game that could be combined to look like buildings, they come in different earth tones, and you can customize the bedding to look like brick or tile. Many real-life buildings do have a low wall around a flat rooftop, although you’re right that it’s usually solid. :) Like many ACNH design tricks, it’s not going to be perfect but a lot of people really like the effect!
