Hey! I sew all the time! When I worked at JoAnn's I did a 101 sewing program that was "sleepover stitches". Students made pillowcases, pajama pants, and a tote bag. All of them are really quick, easy and satisfying! (And very easy to find patterns/instructions for)
A lot of adults took the class even if it was technically "for kids" cause they wanted to get reacquainted with sewing as adults, so I always suggest those projects. Plus, if you want to get into home decor stuff, pillowcases surprisingly have some pretty good foundational techniques for that. I hope you pick up a machine and have fun with it!

LOVED this island! So many spoopy vibes 🖤🤎🧡 And for neat sewing projects, I’ve really wanted to make myself a pinafore- its almost impossible to find good ones and they can be really handy for working in the kitchen or yard- if you’re into cute dresses anyways
Loved the tour! ...And I used to sew a lot too, not so much anymore. I've often thought about picking up some side projects for fun and trying my hand at making aprons, pot holders, or purses. Just a few ideas if inspo hits!
So I just visited. I have so many questions. 1. How do you get the sparkles on items? 2. What is that pattern for the leaf swags on the double lamp posts? 3. How do your villagers have such awesome furniture? Is that what we are spending g our ACNH millions on?
abt the first one, theres a feature in the dlc where u can learn how to ‘polish’ items and w that it’s possible to make them sparkle afaik

No sewing expert here, but an experienced novice. 😅 My favorite projects to make are baby quilts/blankets. Such a great tour! Love this island.

Yes! Finally, an island tour that'll help with my own island (I'm going for a very similar theme/vibe). Thanks for going on this tour. As far as the island goes though, I think if I were to do a cemetery, it would not go onto the beach. That part just broke the immersion for me since you typically can't bury people in the sand without them um...coming back. 😬

Ohhh I'm making a Greek Mythology island and I've been wanting to make a big underworld area that would be different from the otherwise angelic vibe, without it just being like, black items and this gave me so much inspiration!

yes it's random. A friend and I used to visit DAs along with each other. And we obviously cannot visit together so we travelled alone and talked via discord. And of course we took the same paths and ways on the island and I was like "Omg, there is [insert name] outside" and she was like "Nooo... she's at home!" :D

It is wheat. You buy it from nooks cranny or if you have the DLC from paradise planning and because what they sell is random you gotta get lucky
