Beautiful. Nice photography. Whoever is responsible for this place should secure it and put a roof on it soon. Water and vandals could mess it up quickly. Heck, I wanted to sweep the stairs, lol. Thanks for posting, thumbs up!
AngryRed Banjo - i wanted to put all the books back on the shelves... maybe sweep up that room a bit... build a fire and find a couple bottles of vintage wine and drink them both... than take a nap on one of the couches, after wiping off the dust and rejuvnatng the leather. then i'd wake up with a hangover and make some breakfast in a skillet in the fireplace... hmmm, i think there's more wine left???
That's all I do, run around for days, sweeping up, dusting, and cleaning, sandblasting exterior, refinishing old furniture! (Watching these "Abandoned " videos). It's a beautiful place, though. Could be fixed-up, modern, but appropriate, too. I like it very much. Thank you.tw
I would not change a single bit of decor, it is beautiful in its present state. I would only clean and dust and remove the 0:48 decaying fox from the mantel. The library needs tlc and the books need to be in their proper place on the shelves. Michelle, let us know if this one comes on the market, someone would love to live in the French countryside. My ancestry is French, de Charpentier, perhaps you have heard of them?
This place is in a truly great condition and could probably be saved without much effort, then there's those other rooms that seem extremely out of place. People actually have theorized that this was a multi family house during it's final years.
Many foreigners are buying up Chateaus and restoring them to their natural beauty. Check with a local realtor who specializes in Chateaus in the French countryside.
it's in that perfect state of decrepit and livable... if i were ultra wealthy i'd buy this place, restore it with period plumbng, fixtures and furniture and just hang out with the wife until i died. and i wouldn't bother to learn french... my entire staff would be forced to use their crappy english.
ça sent la restauration au goût briton ça... Un minimalisme un peu saugrenu qui colle des pierres apparentes dans un escalier (du XIX°) de logis noble du XVIII °... Bon, OK, le château est toujours debout grâce à ça... Peut être...
Love that old rustic look
All done with still photographs. A lovely untouched and fully furnished time capsule Chateau. Needs selling on as it is.
Just beautiful..love the furniture & the old area rugs. I love books & hated seeing them thrown on the floor like that.
A great video..thanks..
This was precisely the comment I would have made.
Very beautiful video. Such a wonderful castle !
It is very sad to see so beautiful palaces in ruins.
So lovely. The detailing is what's missing in new design/ construction.
I felt at home there - wonderful
Me too

Mmm, its interesting. I always feel like I want to start cleaning and tidying these places. Maybe I got OCD?
Super place. Hope someone starts taking care of it soon and invites me to stay

It is a shame that leaving this kind of residence ruined.

Wow!
Wow! Unbelievable!
Who owns this and why is the French Government letting places like these go to waste. Why are they so greedy with want of taxes???
c'est dessolant de voir de belle demeure a l abandon
That one is neat❤️ Thanks 😁
Un magnifique lieu, parfaitement rattrapable! Un like pour la vidéo et le château, mais pas pour l'intitulé...

Rather odd that all the rooms are so neat except where the books are and those look like they’ve just been throwing around that’s too bad.
Incredible
Needs saving and doing up, Lots of character, library in a mess, needs to be locked and guarded against vandalism/graffiti.
Beautiful. But needs a lot of TLC
Someone! Tidy up that den this instant. CMJ
Хочу, хочу!!!
and no one can't put the book's back on the shelves?!
A true survivor!
Looks to be in very good condition for an abandoned property. Is it being renovated? Or is that just wishful thinking?
