If you can play any version of Buckaroos for more than 10 minutes, I salute you man. Time Warp and Veediots are OK but the rest of the Nintendo RnS games are either good ideas gone wrong or just awful. I will note that Shaven Yak on Game Gear is pretty damn good too. SEGA tended to have more good licensed games on their consoles cos they actually developed them internally, either by SEGA of Japan for the big headliners (Disney Illusion games, Michael Jackson, etc) or SEGA of America for the smaller stuff (RnS, Home Alone, etc) - nintendo barely made any after throwing mike tyson in punch out so you pretty much had to pray that Capcom, Hudson or Konami got the license for a nintendo licensed game to be something outstanding.
Like many people who grew up in the 90s,I used to love watching Ren and Stimpy on Nickelodeon(back when they still had good shows). And this game really takes me back to those great childhood days.
Ah, Ren and Stempy... A perfect mix of looney tunes, the twilight zone and an acid trip rolled into one sick depraved mix of cartoon joy. And the game made sure to play on it. Isn't it beautiful?
Those giraffes at the zoo used to scare the crap out of me when I was still in the second grade back in the 90s (must have been the sound when I played it).
Playing this 2 player is an exercise in masochism. You share a lifebar, the camera generally follows whoever is in front, if the trailing player falls off the screen, you take damage, the co-op moves require positioning that's tight enough to make them hard to use when you need them yet loose enough to make you to use them when you don't want to and the level design is generally not suited to co-op play.
@tripdefect87 The good ol' days. I still have this game. lol Looking back makes wonder about the 90's and how I own a SEGA Genesis. Those were the good ol' days.
I played this all the time as a kid. I beat it a bunch. I bought it again earlier this year ans was amazed how I didn't notice how painfully short and easy it is. I always found it very challenging.
I remembered playing some of the classics on Sega Genesis (The Ren & Stimpy Show, The Magic School Bus, Looney Tunes, Sonic the Hedgehog, Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, etc)
I still love ren and stimpy! I watch ren and stimpy on TH-cam! Growing up in the 90s myself I watched them all the time. Stimpy is adorable and ren isn't as adorable. But man do I love them😁😁😁
i remember letting my nephews play this game on an emulator all they did was have Ren slap Stimpy. but they loved the game. it wasnt hard for them and they took turns playing it
I just died of a nostalgia attack. Also can someone explain to me why the Outdoors level is body horror? Funny enough the little finger with the leaf sticking out of it used to creep me out more than all the other stuff in that level as a kid...
Is this the one where you had to race out of stimpys mouth at some point? Cause I could Never beat that level.. Lol that's actually what made me want to look it up, just to see what was after that level
This game was perfectly implemented from one of the best cartoons shows into an unforgettable platformer. Beavis and Butthead tried but had some bad game designs.
The only genesis RnS game ended up being vastly superior to all 4 SNES ones. Go figure!
RecD buckaroo's on SNES is pretty good.

When you let T*HQ touch your property, and make games, things can go wrong. T*HQ didn't touch this one.
Preach! MD/Genesis for life!
@@recorderdudewhy the rest of RnS Nintendo games are bad btw?

Remember back then these are the best graphics ever
Melissa Morales were*
It means you are old as I am.
"back then" "ever" why not throw "literally" in there a few times just to really make no sense
Even now, it looks pretty impressive and modern
They weren't
The fact this game has you utilize your ally way better than a game like Donkey Kong Country? Hilarious. :P
OH JOY! I use to play this game too many times as a kid.
me 2 and then i finally beat it
Giraffes used to scare the shit outta me back in the day.
UGH!!!!!!! I HATE THAT LEVEL!!!!! My friend and I struggled on that level!! At least we pass the level.
giraffes were my favorite animal as a kid (and they still are today) but I feel like that would’ve changed if I played this game lol
0:01-0:10 "It's Log, it's Log, it's big, it's shiny, it's wood;
It's Log, it's Log, it's better than bad, it's good!"
:D
it's HEAVY, not SHINY
*I LIKE HOW STIMPY JUST THROWS REN AROUND THE WHOLE TIME*
Yep. The gameplay also is very solid.
Definitely the best Ren and Stimpy game ever made the music is on point the graphics look very nice
Happy 25th anniversary to one of my favorite childhood Sega genesis games
6:39 guess the giraffes didn't like the fact that Ren and Stimpy had acid before them LOLZ.
this was a fun game and still looks fun
i played this game way too much as a kid. i remember so many of these sound effects
12:38 Happy, Happy Without The Joy Joy
God, I remember this game - it was one of my first Sega Genesis games.
Absolutely the best Ren and Stimpy game of all time.
A machine that turns garbage into delicious food would be revolutionary.
Too bad they didn’t use that unused cutscene as the ending before the “Happy Happy Joy Joy” scene.
Those giraffes at the zoo used to scare the crap out of me when I was still in the second grade back in the 90s (must have been the sound when I played it).
Same here.
One of my favorite games

dam i use to love this game when i was a kid... lots of good memories playing it... thnx 4 tha upload
I told you I'd shoot, but you wouldn't believe me! Why wouldn't you believe me?
I played this all the time as a kid. I beat it a bunch. I bought it again earlier this year ans was amazed how I didn't notice how painfully short and easy it is. I always found it very challenging.
Oh my god the fart floating level used to piss me off SO bad hahah
Did I miss the part where Ren and Stimpy take a bunch of acid between levels 4 and 5?
what button do you press to make the bike move in the city level?
Lol wow this brings back so many memories back in the good ol days
Need I say that this game has nothing to do with the actual episode?
that doesn't make the game bad though
Wow talk about perfect timing, Ren & Stimpy just turned 20 today from it's TV debut. Intentional?
Played this constantly as a kid, could never beat the last level
I remembered playing some of the classics on Sega Genesis (The Ren & Stimpy Show, The Magic School Bus, Looney Tunes, Sonic the Hedgehog, Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, etc)
I still love ren and stimpy! I watch ren and stimpy on TH-cam! Growing up in the 90s myself I watched them all the time. Stimpy is adorable and ren isn't as adorable. But man do I love them😁😁😁
I haven't play this game in years!
I still can't believe that a pound looks like a dungeon AND HAS A WRESTLING RING. What kind of pound is this?
The best pound ever
what smash moveset potential
FUCKING Memories!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FGOKURULES fuck u 2
i remember letting my nephews play this game on an emulator all they did was have Ren slap Stimpy. but they loved the game. it wasnt hard for them and they took turns playing it
Awesome game and good memories
Wanna know what's sad? I never completed the game because I was stuck on the last level pfft
Ren and Stimpy on Sega Genesis is the best version among all four versions.
I just died of a nostalgia attack.
Also can someone explain to me why the Outdoors level is body horror? Funny enough the little finger with the leaf sticking out of it used to creep me out more than all the other stuff in that level as a kid...
man idk why the outdoors level is like that too. ren and stimpy is a weird franchise and i love it. this game is great!
The outdoors level is loosely based on "Black Hole" from the show
One of my favs!
STIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIMPY!!!! - What arrrrre you doing?!?!?!?
I'm playing are own video game ren
ren: You stupid eediot! you should have picked the 2 player mode so you and me can play together!
Oh, nothing! say ren, do you like flying?
Creepy and weird game, it was one of my favorites. I loved it as a kid and played it many times. Joyyy!!!
Well yeah of course, because the show was creepy and weird.
I can’t believe a show like Ren and Stimpy was on a children’s network 😳
I bought this new at Walmart when it came out. I took it home and beat it the first day. I don’t ever remember that happening any other time.
Bit of sudden end: Push some switches down and done. And no cutscene or anything to explain you've succeeded in whatever mission. :-o
actually you succeeded in turning off the mutat-o-matic or whatever that machine was called.
Best game ever: Fallout second one: Ren & Stimpy
RickyC wasn't very familiar with the game before this playthrough, was he?
memories!!! I loved this game.
I'm buying this.
This is the pinnacle of gaming right here.
i also had "Veediots" for the original gameboy, that was a fun game too
oh thank you for uploading sega games
The best one
Is this the one where you had to race out of stimpys mouth at some point? Cause I could Never beat that level.. Lol that's actually what made me want to look it up, just to see what was after that level
No, that was in Veediots.
18:17 Watch out for his Butt Slam!!!!!! I am sure Ermac got THAT move from this wrestler.
Boogerman chicken!
Way to pay the fire chief back for the travesty that was Fire Dogs 2.
great series, I run a group dedicated to the show on Facebook, and it's going smoothly, 66 members which is impressive
Very good game! I never played this game, but I like it very much. I hope that in future, will appear some modern games with Rem & Stimpy.
What game dev thought it was a good idea to start your opening cutscene/dialog with that god awful obnoxious beeping?
I beat this game as a kid, now I watch this and think how the fuck did I do that lmao
This game was released a year later after Ariel: Disney's The Little Mermaid
0:24...why does it say ren "hoek" ...and stimpy...thats weird
Loved this game. The zoo level used to have me by the balls
I dont trust giraffes
Is that the best ending? What was the point of collecting the parts?
Collecting the parts turned off the machine
This game was perfectly implemented from one of the best cartoons shows into an unforgettable platformer.
Beavis and Butthead tried but had some bad game designs.
Happy Happy Joy Joy!
Too bad they couldn’t make it to where those walruses break the ice for you.

Que legal relembrar! De algumas fases eu nem me lembrava.
Apesar da nostalgia, que joguinho vagabundo...fases bem curtinhas. Não chegar aos pés de um Sonic, por exemplo.
