actually the best and fastest way to make grass "lines" is to put both mowers on the front and the windrower in the back, in this way it will create one HUGE line of grass that has the grass of the entire field, so that you don't have to go up and down on the field with the thing that makes bales and it's easier if you need to store it with the loading wagon(?)
ACTUALLY! An even better way. There is a back mower that is slightly wider than the one he uses in the mods, same make as the one Xyvox uses. It cannot be used in the front like the one you mention BUT it automatically puts the grass in rows so you don't need a windrower. When making hay I use your method with both pieces on the front and a tedder behind but when making grass or silage I just use my method. What would be great is if there was a teder that you could hook to a windrower.

@@cosimobruno9254 TBH, I just got the game 2 weeks ago so I am still learning how things work. I tried bailing silage this last weekend but haven't tried the bunker yet. Bailing silage takes longer than just bailing grass/hay but the profits for silage bales make it VERY much worth the time. I would think that if you need a lot of silage then the bunker would be the way to go. It is a more complicated process but you can make larger amounts in less time. If you only have to feed a few animals then bailing is probably the better option.

If i had to ball park it and a quick google search it was about 18 hours on normal to grow to full length. Remember tho if you change the difficulty it may take longer and a shorter amount of time before it grows to full length.
Not positive on how accurate this is as it is just some observations I made over the weekend but I had my crop growth set to fast and it seemed like it changed to a new stage every 6 hours. It looked like it happened at 6 and 12 each day but that might have been a coincidence.

@@fatbroccoli8 No that trailer can not. But there is a mod in game that has a trailer that can pick up round bails and also if you buy the DLC you can use their trailer to do it as well.

yes you can it is way better to wrap and sell
Wrapping the cut grass instantly transforms grass into silage, no need for silage bunker, compacting etc.

i have done that time and time again and most of my round bales would just roll away. I would spend a good amount of time looking for them.
